Has anyone seen the movie yet?
Post all your thoughts/reviews in here!
<<SPOILER WARNING>>
wow - just go home - what a film - but be warned if you havent read the book you wont understand half the film - they have made it thinking that everyone going to see the film will have read it and will understand whats going on in places.
It was a good film but was too rushed in some places they dont explain about frank being the keeper of the old riddle house the world cup lasts about a minute and they fires and fighting after it last about that long too and they also dont explain about barty crouch jnr. (How he got out of azkaban etc...) but apart from that i give it a

Imagine ralph as a monk - bald in black robes and only two slits for a nose. Hes not as scary as i would have thought the would have been and think they could have done alot more with the grave yard part.
One of the best parts has to be moaning murtyle in the prefects bathroom

I'm seeing it today, heaven't read the book as I don't like them, I'm only going for a night out, I might enjoy it, and is does have Gary Oldman and Ralph Fiennes in it, let you know what I think later
I saw it last night with some of my mates. It was an excellent film but some things were rushed or just skipped. They missed out, the dursleys, a lot of the world cup, winky and dobby, rita skeeter being turned into a bug, Harry giving his winnings to the weasleys and I am sure there was more. It was annoying that the gap between the first and second task took so long but then the 3rd task came round so quickly.
I have to say that it was a great movie and I can't wait to see it again. I'd forgotten David Tennat was in it so that was a nice treat. I would have liked there to have been more of Gary Oldman as he only appears via voice reading from a letter and once in the fire. Certain parts of that film were very dark and I could children around me getting a bit scared. The graveyard seen is quite dark and spooky but great all the same. I did get tears when Cedric's body was brought back to Hogwarts.
I loved the Yule Ball (we got a chance to see more clues of Ron and Hermione getting together) and also the scene with Myrtle in the prefects bathroom! I can't wait to see it again

Thought he would be as it is rated a 12A. I should be going to see it later on today.
Could anyone who has already seen the movie tell me how long it is please? My mate wants to know as she is arranging for us to go and see it later.

How could you watch it twice in 3 DAYS?!...
lmao - quite easily actually (2 twice in two days actually lol)- was taking the kids this time (my excuse and sticking to it:p )
I was actually more fun this time with loads of kids in the cinema and hear them all gasp with shock when ron "swears" and cry when cedric dies and stuff like that - the kids reeally did make the atmospher better
I'm going again on saturday. Can't wait!

just got back from the cinema it was a graet film though not showing the durselys put it down a lot they are 1 of my favorite bits at the start of the movie when it shows the dursleys a lot ofr characters were missed out the bathroom scene was good and funny! i dont know how they'll explain all these things in the next film as they missed loads of characters and scenes out that are in the book
the bathroom scenes was the funniest i think....although i dont think most of the kids go the joke with the bubbles

he told harry to p*** off during there fight...
He didn't !!!
yup he did lol
JK has already said that she wanted to have them swearing mildly in the books and the publishers wouldn't let her so im sure she'll have no problems with it in the films.

ive just come back from watching it.. it was great :D and some parts were really funny :p
I saw it aswell, it didn't finish till 10.55 lol. It was definately the most funny of all the films but it is more easy to see where parts have been missed out.

Another film another major disappointment, it was dull, whilst some parts were amusing it just didn't get me excited like other movies have done this year, and GAry Oldman just in the fire place, now that annoyed me, I wanted to see him in the flesh, Ralph Fiennes is a quality actor, but Voldemort is neither frightening or threatning, on the plus side Jason Issacs was back in it and Dave Tennant so those were two things to smile about, but overall nothing more than average.

I cant wait till tonight. I'm seeing the film at seven but we have to go to the one with the intermission in the middle, the one without was sold out and we've had to reserve tickets. Whent we went to see the third film there was hardlt anyone there i think publicity for this one has been much more widespread and its so popular because its lots of peoples favourite book

watched it today - it was awesome although you needed to have read the book to have a clue what was going on
the funniest bit for me was prof filtwick (the little guy) crowd surfing....class
voldemort was truly terrifying, what happened to nagini during the grave yard scene????? totally absent which was odd....and they have llaid the ground work for the HBP- the look between snape and barty crouch jr at the end was too long- even if you havent read the latest book you knew there is something deeper going on
it was a bit clunky though - princapally concerned with just the tasks...and what happened to dumbledore???? personality transplant or what!!!

What your second helpings of Harry, I'm pulling out my hair now!!!!!! Two and a half days left:wall: :wall: :wall:
Wow, I'm so jealous.
I loved the film. They did miss out alot of key stuff though! (suppose if they put much more in the flm would have just been too long!) I had to see it with an intermission too which was annoying! We had to cue up outside the cinema 3 hours before the film to get tickets! - small cinema near big uni and the majority of us students wanted to see it!

Luna is right, It was a good film but was too rushed in some places they dont explain about frank being the keeper of the old riddle house the world cup lasts about a minute and they fires and fighting after it last about that long too and they also dont explain about barty crouch jnr. (How he got out of azkaban etc...) but apart from that i give it a . With me I knew by the middle off the film who put Harry name in the cup.
But another than that is was good. But it was rushed. The other three were better
i enjoy seeing David

I saw it yesterday but I didn't really like it! I thought it was really rushed and some things just weren't explained at all i.e. finding crouch's body in the woods.
Jessie Wallace
07-12-2005, 20:01
It's one brilliant film, way better than the last one, i really didn't like number 3, with all the scenery changes, where as with this you didn't really notice that.
.:SpIcYsPy:.
10-12-2005, 13:45
I think it was poor though.. I mean there was hardly any Ron and Hermoine and Hagrid!! It was too rushed because it was a humungous book!! But it's usually the trio and their adventurous..
