A shocked Sunita reels from Dev’s attempt to stop her aborting their twins. She once again seeks out Shelley, who advices her heartbroken friend to talk to Dev. Realising she must confront her husband, Sunita meets up with Dev at their house. A distraught Sunita comes clean and admits to a relieved Dev that she never intended to go through with the abortion, she explains that she was so hurt by Dev’s secrets that she lied about terminating her pregnancy. A desperate Dev tries to justify his actions by asking Sunita to forgive his past, as she and their children are his future. Will Dev’s pleas sway Sunita or has their marriage suffered irreparable damage?
Elsewhere, pleased that his mum has finally admitted that she is an alcoholic, Jamie sets about trying to arrange some help for his troubled mother. He informs a reluctant Carol that he has arranged for her attend an alcohol support group. Meanwhile, Danny calls round to the house and offers Frankie an olive branch, he proposes the idea of a family trip to Spain to visit Warren. Frankie informs her husband that she will think about it. A bitter Carol overhears the exchange and when Danny has left pours scorn on the idea, persuading Frankie that Danny hasn’t changed and is just trying to worm his way back into her life. The two women form an unlikely alliance and the pair later waste no time in telling Danny to stick his offer. How will Danny react to Carol’s interfering?
Meanwhile, there’s tension in the Webster household when Sally and Kevin decide to swap roles. Sally decides it’s Kevin’s turn to play the strict disciplinarian of the household whilst she takes on his more relaxed demeanour. How long will their role reversal last and will Rosie and Sophie see straight through the ruse?
Also, Claire is fed up hearing of Ashley and Nathan’s plans to go boxing training

After enjoying a cosy breakfast with girlfriend Violet, Jason sets off to work and is pleased when he spots Sarah. The besotted builder can’t help himself and informs a chuffed Sarah that he can’t stop thinking about her. The pair make plans to meet up later. Hatching a plan, Sarah feigns a headache at the hair salon and sneaks off home to have a romantic liaison with Jason. Knowing she has Jason right where she wants him, Sarah demands to know if he is going to finish with Violet. Wanting his wicked way with her, Jason confirms that it is Sarah he wants and that he intends to dump the unsuspecting Violet.
Satisfied that they are officially an item, Sarah leads a lustful Jason to the bedroom. However, they are disturbed when David returns from school. Is the game up for the deceitful pair?
Elsewhere, Dev is crushed to receive papers from Sunita’s solicitor demanding a divorce. He seeks out his wife at the Rovers to plead with her not throw their marriage away. Sunita is steely in her resolve and the exchange soon turns heated. Shelley steps in when she sees Sunita is getting upset and asks Dev to leave. Later, when Sunita has composed herself, she pays Dev a visit at the cornershop. Dev is pleased to see her, believing she has come to talk about reconciliation. Also, Fred is aghast to find Rosie and Craig have chained themselves to the door of his butchers shop in a pro-vegetarian protest, and Molly gets Kirk drunk.

Sarah is more relaxed about the situation believing that Jason will now be forced to end things with his current girlfriend and go public with their secret relationship. However, a confused Jason appears to want to keep both women in tow and he gives in to David’s blackmail demand when he hands over twenty pounds in order to buy the devious schoolboy’s silence. Later, an uncomfortable Jason struggles to keep his emotions in check when Sarah flirts with him at the Rovers, whilst Violet works a few feet away behind the bar. How long can Jason continue to juggle the two women his life?
Meanwhile, Dev and Sunita’s friends their offer support during their current plight. Bev advices Sunita not to be too hasty in severing all ties with the father of her babies and Fred pays Dev a visit in order to persuade him not to give up on Sunita. Will their friends counselling help the warring pair to see sense, or are they destined for the divorce court?
Elsewhere, having been thwarted in their protest at Fred’s butchers shop. A determined Rosie and Craig hatch another “porky” plan to persuade the residents of Weatherfield to stop eating meat.
Also, Fiz is troubled by Molly’s increasing influence on boyfriend Kirk.

The recent events in David’s life push him over the edge. Having being deserted by his own father, the schoolboy holds resentment towards Phil’s relationship with his mum Gail and the angry young man is further frustrated by Sarah’s illicit affair with Jason. So, when Jason rebuffs David’s attempt to extort any further money from him the red mist descends and David launches an attack on Jason, swinging wild punches which the bemused builder manages to fend off. David is pushed to the floor as Jason defends himself.
The clash is witnessed by Sarah, Charlie and Phil who step in to break it up. A devious David later tells Gail that it was Jason who attacked him first and Gail wastes no time in calling the police. As Jason faces a barrage of questions about the incident will he come clean about the true motives behind David’s attack? And if so, is Violet about to hear all about her boyfriend’s two-timing ways?
Meanwhile, Fiz and Kirk make their peace with each other. Fiz apologises for being so bossy to him and promises to let Kirk have a more equal say in their relationship. Molly is disappointed to hear that the pair have resolved their differences and persuades Kirk that Fiz is still manipulating him. With Molly’s poisonous words still ringing in his ears, Kirk sets off in search of Fiz. Has Molly’s revenge driven plan worked? Has she finally managed to drive a wedge between Kirk and Fiz?
