View Full Version : Should they bring a new Mitchell in?

So, despite being one of Walford's biggest families, in 2006 the family will consist of Peggy, Phil and Billy. Little Mo is technically still a Mitchell but unless her and Billy get back together I see her as more of a Slater. And I don't think Grant will be back full time. Out of them all Phil is the only one I could think of that would be the catalyst for a big storyline.
So should they bring another member of the family in -- maybe a cousin from the same distant place the Slater and Moon cousins spring from, despite never been mentioned before. I think it would be quite good if we got a female Mitchell about the same age as Sam -- would be quite interesting if there was a "rich" side of the Mitchells with someone who'd gone to private school and university.
What does everyone else think?

I hope they do, something to bring the balance back to the family, since Sam's leaving, Grunt isnt coming back and they havent got good storylines until Grunt comes back next year.
SO hope they do bring some one back in.

Well it would bring an added dimension to the Mitchell clan hahahahaha
I think they should. In my opinion, the Mitchells need new blood as I feel they have gotten very stale.

NO, I'm sick of the Mitchells.
i read once that when babs was coming back they planned to have her and aunt sal behind the bar...but then they changed everything becuase of the den storyline so it may still be in their heads to bring her back like that

There is something on Digital Spy which mentions that there is another new signing on the way early next week and it’s an addition to a family that’s already on the square (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/scoop). Could be a Mitchell.

Cant see it being Johnny's family unless its from his wife's side or he got brothers and sisters.
Could be another slater, Miller, Mitchell, another Branning or Trueman???

She used to play the daughter in On the Buses, she married the local lay about. Then the actress got the role of Peggy's sister Sal.

Its not the mitchells its their storylines some have been good some have been down right mind numbingly atrocious.
i have a feeling that they may bring in Grants wife to the show at some stage?

I read an article and forgot to load it in here, they were thinking of killing Grant off with Ross's in put.
I think it could be some sort of brother or sister of Billy

:cheer: I THINK THEY SHOULD BRING IN A NEW MITCHELL OR TWO WITH GRANT IN AND OUT AND SAM GOING FOR GOOD I THINK THEY SHOULD BRING MORE IN LIKE JAMIE MITCHELL AND ANOTHER GIRL BOTH HARD AS NAILS AND LIKE CAUSING TROUBLE NICE !
No more Mitchells.. I would like to see someone elses family member come in, like Gary's or Minty's.. maybe they have a brother or sister that could add new excitment to EE and give the mitchells/watts/miller/wicks a hard time..

Or distant relatives of Dot and Jims or even Pat or bring back Ians kid Stephen ??? ( he should what be in his teens now )... maybe even bring Derreck back and his son and daughter,, heck theres bound to be a few in the wood work to shake up ol Walford,,,:rotfl:
They are already bring a load of Pats relatives back.. the Wicks.. I hope they don't have the same dodge catchphrase "you're a -------------- (fill in which every family name is appropriate)"

:) It Would Be Nice For Minty To Have Some More Family Bless Him I Think
I'd love to see family for Garry or Minty or even a proper girlfriend for one or both of them. Their 'Men Behaving Badly' routine is so boring and unfunny and they are both underused characters who would be much better with some family around them. They should bring in a sibling or parent of Minty or Garry.
