X Factor star Chico Slimani has recorded a single.
The singer and former stripper plans to release the track, named Chico Time, to prove that he can be a successful pop star.
Mark Hudson, the show's vocal coach, penned the song to show Chico as a serious artist.
"It's not a joke tune - I don't see Chico as a novelty act," he told the Daily Star. "He can sing and he's got things to say spiritually, so it's going to be a legitimate record.
"It's a song that says, 'It doesn't matter if you're short, tall, fat, black, white or red, look at yourself and say life can be fun.'"
