'Desperate Housewives' bosses have already replaced actor Page Kennedy after he was fired for "improper conduct".
Newcomer Nashawn Kearse - who has appeared in small roles on TV's 'Entourage', 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent' and 'Deadline' - will take over as Caleb, the mysterious character being hidden in Betty Applewhite's basement, according to People.com
Kennedy, who only recently joined the hit ABC show, was dropped on Friday (04-05-05) after the studio conducted an investigation into allegations against him.
The show's publicist, Janet Daily, confirmed there was a "thorough investigation" but refused to divulge details of the allegations.
Kennedy's representative Lana Walker revealed: "I no longer represent him"
In October Kennedy told People he was unsure of his character's future on the popular drama - but said he hoped his turn on Wisteria Lane would boost his career.
He said: "I don't know what I'm doing in the next episode, much less at the end off the season Hey, if I'm out of work next season, hopefully a lot of people saw me so I can move on"
