Leonardo DiCaprio's father was hospitalised after being hit by a car while out cycling.
The Hollywood actor's dad, George, had been riding his bike in the Los Feliz neighbourhood, in Los Angeles, on Monday (07-05-05), when the vehicle crashed into him knocking him unconscious.
George, a former comic-book dealer, was quickly rushed to hospital for treatment where he was joined by Leonardo who kept a bedside vigil.
Luckily, George only suffered minor injuries, from which he is expected to make a full recovery. He was allowed out of hospital after two days.
Meanwhile, it has been revealed Leonardo was allegedly dumped by girlfriend Gisele Bundchen for flirting with Sienna Miller. The heartthrob star was caught getting cosy with the stunning actress - who has had an on-off relationship with boyfriend Jude Law since he admitted cheating on her with his children's nanny - in a Los Angeles nightclub several weeks ago.
Brazilian supermodel Gisele was said to have been so furious when she found out that she called off her tempestuous romance with Leo once and for all.
