Lindsay Lohan is planning to take time out from her music and movie career to become a student.
The 'Herbie' star is considering following in the footsteps of twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen by studying for a degree at New York University.
The brainy actress is hoping to combine further studying with her Hollywood jet-set lifestyle.
She believes she could easily combine the two if she studies in New York - because the city has excellent flight links around the world. The 19-year-old star told the New York Daily News, "I would go to NYU
"I'm a New York girl, and it's easy to get to London and LA from here"
Meanwhile Lindsay and boyfriend Jared Leto are set to make a movie together. The sexy stars, who are rumoured to be dating, have both signed up to appear in a film about John Lennon's murder.
In 'Chapter 27', handsome Jared will star as Mark Chapman, who shot the Beatles legend outside his New York apartment in 1980, while Lindsay will play an obsessed fan who befriends the murderer. Filming on the indie movie is due to start early next year.
