Episode 12.07 - The Human Shield - 38-year-old blue collar typical soccer dad Vincent is having breakfast with his daughter Sydney at a local Chicago restaurant. He gets a tad impatient when the waitress tells him they can't print bills as the machine is broken and he has to wait. He decides to take off with his daughter... via the back door. Things get ugly when the police circle him and demand that he lets Sydney go and surrender. All have guns (including Vincent) and use them... The injured are brought to the ER. Sam and Clemente deal with a rather large and scary patient. Celemente is introducing new equipment and procedures. It seems Neela and Abby were suspended for working on an animal. Zoe and her dad come to the ER... Ray WILL be in trouble with the dad. The contest as to who will replace Susan as Chief is opened. Eve, Pratt, Frank, Jerry, Kovac, Pickman, Marquez, Dubenko, Inez, Malik and Weaver also appear.
Episode 12.08 - Two ShipsNeela, who's working with paramedics in ambulances today with Gates (John Stamos) and Olbes, brings in Marty Trudeau, a 60-year-old man who had a cardiac transplant, and who has fluid in his lungs. Pratt and Inez take care of him. Eve is going on a trip and has to take a plane. Ray takes care of Tomo Kobayashi, a drunk Japenese man who weights 300 lbs and wears a Japenese robe. Abby and Kovac are at his apartment. The ER prepares to receive injured passengers and civilians from a commuter jet that crashed in an urban neighborhood after it was struck by a small private plane. Neela, Gates and Olbes go to the site. Pratt and Pickman join them. Sam, Frank, Clemente, and Haleh also appear.
Episode 12.09 - All About Christmas Eve: It's Christmas Eve. A woman named Tamara who was in a car accident is brought in. She'll be treated by Kovac and Ray. Haleh is organizing a Christmas party for the ER and she is looking for singers. Kovac invites Abby to spend Christmas with him. A new surgeon, Jessica Albright, comes to the ER to take care of a patient who was shot. Expect the usual injured Santa to come to the ER. Santa and his friends will cause troubles for Sam and, mostly, Eve. Jodie Keenen, Clemente's (ex-?)girlfriend, drops by the hospital. Morris, Frank, Weaver, Marquez, Olbes, Malik, Alex, Pratt and Olivia are in this episode.
