Stacey or Ruby

Ok, here yet another poll, having seen everyone opitions to the Stacey and Zoe poll, i thought i'd see what everyone thinks with Stacey and Ruby. Everyone seems to like them both and they are usually talked about together, so who do you think is the better of the two of them?

Lol, i was waiting for someone to notice that!, erm i think it's gonna have to be Stacey, but only by a whisper. I love them both, so it's really hard to choose.

oh Dawn ya know i cant choose i love em both! but i think (and please no-one shout at me for this lolz) ruby , because when she first came into eastenders i got proper addicted to it lolz and i also started to like stacey more too so probably ruby :D but they ar eoth greaT!

I voted Stacey as i thihnk she is a better soap character but as a real life person it would be Ruby. However i think they both work well toghther they bring out the aspects to each others characters that they have individually e.g ruby brings out staceys softer side and stacey has shown Ruby not to let people walk over her

i have to stand up for my darling ruby/louisa, as she isnt doing too well in this poll

she's had a lot more storylines so we can fatham (sp?) her character better, and we've seen her develop as a character from the shy little girl to the confident young woman, shes got a lot of balls to stand up to gangster father and i hope we see a lot more from her in the future

Stacey definitely. I think she's a better character -- I'd say I 'know' her more than Ruby, yet she hasn't actually had the big storylines that Ruby has. She's shown her character, and developed it all while being involved in someone else’s storyline, or just from passing scenes. Ruby's had quite a few storylines with Johnny and Tina, but I can't say I feel as involved in her character as I do Stacey. Plus Stacey is played by a much more consistent actress which helps.

i love them both, ruby was just this nervous little girl before and now she's realised that she's 17 and should grow up and now she's more confident. stacey is just a fab, funny, feisty chraracter so i'm choosing stacey.

I choose Ruby as in my eyes she has been through more what with her mum and sister in a fire her dad moving away from and putting her in a boarding school & than her father having a affair with Tina and not telling her and than her father having another affair with another women, like bondboffin said “from the shy little girl to the confident young woman, she’s got a lot of balls to stand up to gangster father” not a lot of girls can stand up to their dad. But Louisa has done a good job and in my eyes I think Stacy is just trying to be big
