why can't you choose there friends for them!!?? my son has this friend who i cant stand! hes rude,no pleases of thank you's when hes given something and hes a right little whiner! he just goes in my fridge with out asking and wants things hes never had before then spits it back out saying i dont like that! arrrr! hes terrified of dogs which doesnt help as i have 5! which isnt his fault but god!! he just does my head in and i wish my son would make another friend,dont get me wrong he has severasl friends he plays with but this is like one of his best ones!

um yr a bloke so why are you on here continuously reading and following my threads etc? then slagging them? find someone else to bother please.

reading:is it best to try to teach them before they go to school or let the school deal with it?
I think at the very very least they should be able to recognise the alphabet, my son could read his name and little words like cat and dog and stuff before he went to school but not much more than that.
do all schools have the same type of book for 5-6 year olds? with people in them called skip,chip,biff and kipper?

i read them books when i was in infant school. still remember them lol! :)

thats what i remember thinking! when i was about 6 i used to laugh about the names with my mum when i was reading them to her
