Elton John has hinted that he and his long-term boyfriend, documentary maker David Furnish, will marry in New York on December 21.

Apparently, Elton intends to get married at a charity party for his Aids Foundation, which is coincidentally placed on the same day same-sex marriage is due to be legalised in the UK.

The singer previously tied the knot with Renate Blauel in the mid-80s but the marriage soon collapsed after Elton announced he was gay.

he been gay for like forever!

good luck to him though and it about time same sex marriage was legalised, dont see the difference really from 'normal' marriages

they have been saying they would get married fro ages so im glad they soon can

Good luck to Elton, Its taken time to get it legal here. My sister married her girl friend 10 years ago in Amsterdam,so they are classed as married there but not in england, so they will have to have another wedding here now.

Wow I bet Elton John's wedding is going to be really big, can you imagine what they're both going to wear! And they'll be loads of celebs there cos tehy seem to know everyone! I think it's really good that they can get married now, they've been together for ages already.
