Girls Aloud have hit out at reality TV show The X Factor.

The group, formed in 2002 from fellow TV talent show Popstars: The Rivals (http://g.msn.co.uk/1ETGBEN0/124980.4?http://search.msn.co.uk/results.aspx?FORM=SRHBDY&q=The Rivals&&HL=keywordInt), criticised The X Factor's singers as second rate.

Nicola Roberts, 20, said: "I don't think the talent is that good this time round.

"I mean, look at Chico - what is that?

"That's what you get when you try and make good TV rather than a talent show," she told OK! magazine.

Girl band Cheryl Tweedy (http://g.msn.co.uk/1ETGBEN0/124980.4?http://search.msn.co.uk/results.aspx?FORM=SRHBDY&q=Cheryl Tweedy&&HL=keywordInt), Sarah Harding (http://g.msn.co.uk/1ETGBEN0/124980.4?http://search.msn.co.uk/results.aspx?FORM=SRHBDY&q=Sarah Harding&&HL=keywordInt), Kimberley Walsh (http://g.msn.co.uk/1ETGBEN0/124980.4?http://search.msn.co.uk/results.aspx?FORM=SRHBDY&q=Kimberley Walsh&&HL=keywordInt), Nadine Coyle and Nicola are managed by Louis Walsh, a judge with Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne on ITV's The X Factor.

Nadine, 20, said: "I can't watch it. The judges are just so harsh. I told Louis Walsh (http://g.msn.co.uk/1ETGBEN0/124980.4?http://search.msn.co.uk/results.aspx?FORM=SRHBDY&q=Louis Walsh&&HL=keywordInt) that he should give them constructive criticism and not just destroy them.

Pot Kettle Black, if it wasnt for a reality show like Pop Idol etc.., they wouldn't be heard of now, and if my memory serves me correctly Nadine was so desperate for fame, she lied about her age when she entered the Irish version of Pop Idol and was booted out, then she turns up on the British Version. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.

They would not be were they were today if it was not for reality shows. I agree I don't think chico should have got through to the live shows but give the guy some credit he is entertaining and he is commited to being a success. At the end of the day the x factor is good family saturday night viewing and the kids like him

I agree they seem like fame has really gone to their heads i think they should be greatful and not to be so quick to comment

I think they need to be brought back down to reality remember were they come from and how they got to were they are now and be thankful :o

Well Simon threw the gauntlet down on Sat. night, inviting them to come and sing live. Louis face was a picture, "they were mis-quoted, you saw the text from them Simon". If he is supposed to be their manager, he should be better at damage limitations than that.

HAHAHAHAHA

Girls aloud critiscing other singers. I mean have they heard themselves especially the blond one. Every note they sing is out of tune.
