The government is launching the citizenship test for foreigners who want to become British. If you want the passport, then you'll have to read Life in the UK, a special book, and sit a 45-minute test on society, history and culture. But do you know what it is to be British? The following very unofficial questions are based on information in the official book - let's see how well you do...

0-5: Seat in Heathrow arrivals.... 6-10: Seat on the district council......11-13: Seat in Parliament.....14: Seat on the throne

I got 9. I am a 40 year old brit with a degree and a post grad qualification - what chance have they got!

I got 11 and two of them I got wrong would have been right if the law was the same in this part of the UK.

I got 13, the one I got wrong was the solictor one. which I think you could have answered A or C for that one.I said A check for conflict of interest. But They say how much both are right I would say. Think it was a trick question. So I did well I think.
