Hi i have a dvd recorder and was wondering if anyone knows what disks i should use as i have been using dvd-r but it dosn't play on anything except the dvd i tape it on and your meant to be able to play them anywhere
ps. if it is in the wrong place feel free to move
well the disks might not play on anything else, as sometimes you have to finalise disks, meaning you can't record on it no more!
Urmm it depends on your dvd recorder, on mine i can use all, but i tend to use dvd-r as they work on my pc!

ok thanks
you need to look at your booklet thingy, it'll tell you in there
A lot of the higher quality dvd players will not play DVD-r or even video cds. Check the spec of your machine. Its possible to get deatisl off the net to bypass the regional software although most of the cheaper machines are able to play lots of different formats and regions.
