Interesting Scenario (Re-try)

Part 1

I close the front door and head out across the square. It's cold so I wrap my blazer tighter around me and pull my scarf. Snow is starting to fall and I can feel the flakes falling on my hair. The rooves are covered in a light covering. As I head into the gardens I see two figures on the bench. One looks like Chrissie, but I can't really see the other one. I walk over to her, but I stop in my tracks when I see who is on the bench with her. Who she is kissing.
"Danny?"

Chrissie pulls away from Danny and stands up so she's facing me. I notice that a couple of her blouse buttons are undone. Traces of lipstick are around Danny's lips and Chrissie has lipstick smudges all over har mouth. Her hair is ruffled andcoming out of the scrunchie. Both her and Danny lips are raw from the cold and kissing. How could they do this? I turn around and walk away, back to the house. Leaving them there, pure shock on their face as they realise I know. I've caught them. Uncovered their dirty little secret.

I slam the door shut behind me, emotion bubbling up inside of me. I grab a can from the fridge and head upstairs. I stand at the window and watch them heading towards the house. They're pratically running, pathetic. Glad I put the chain on the door, locking them out. I wander out of the room and stand at the top of the stairs. Danny's key goes into the lock and he tries to open the door. The chain stops him.
"Open up Jake, we just want to talk" Danny shouts up through the lock.
"So it's we now is it?" I shout back down in fury.
"What I didn't mean it like that! Jake stop picking and just let us talk to you" Danny cries back.
" Oh go to hell. Both of you!" I shout over my back as I head into the bedroom. I flop onto the bed and allow one hand to stray onto the floor to rummage through the dust balls and find the bottle of vodka I discarded there a couple of days back. I open it and take a deep swig. The answer to all my problems.

It's been 3 days since I went outside. Danny comes and goes and tries to speak to me, I don't listen though. Then it hits me. Why should I be staying in the house? I haven't done anything wrong. I've been craving a pint anyway. I Grab my jacket and head outside. The snow is coming down faster now and there is a chill in the air. I push open The Vic door and the warmth embraces me. I head over to the bar ignoring Chrissie.
"Pint please, Tracey" I mutter. I hand her the money and take the pint over to the boys in the corner. Martin and Mickey seem to be having a discussion about nurses, while Juley and Gus discuss the chores in the flat. Dennis is at with a smirk on his face.
"Jake. Finally someone I can talk to properly" He says laughing. "How are you?"
"On top of the world. I found my brother and girlfriend kissing in the square and discovered they'd been having an affair"
"Chrissie and Danny???????" Dennis mutters in pure shock
"That's right. They'd been having a torrid little affair behind my back!"
Pauline suddenly leans over "Chrissie and Danny are having an affair?"
Then like wildfire it spreads around the whole Vic. I can hear the little mutters hear and there. Their secrets out now. Everyone knows.

So this is it then. The famous walford. He was always going on about this place, well now I'm here. I walk up through the market and catch a few gazes. They don't stand a chance with me though! Only one guy on this square does. I'll just have to find him. I enter a pub called 'The Queen Victoria.' It's pretty packed so I walk over to the bar. The woman behind it looks pretty rushed off her feet.
Lucy: Hi. I'm Lucy.
I hold out my hand and she shakes it
Chrissie: Chrissie
Lucy: I was just wondering if you wanted some help. I've worked in a pub before.
Chrissie: Sure, come on round. We'll sort out money later.
Lucy: Sure

I leave Lucy in charge of the bar. I need to get out. People keep watching me and glancing at me. Whispering. I walk out of the vic and stare at the sky. It's grey and dismal. The harsh winds whip around me and creep up my legs. I wrap my coat tighter around me and head towards the cafe. I just need a cup of tea. Big mistake.
I open the door and head towards the counter. The whispers are already starting, why did I come in here? I ask Ian for a tea and hand him the money. Then I walk into a corner, wishing to disappear. Everyone watches me and the gossip starts to fly. Everyone knows. Everyone's judging me. Then as if noting could get worse Jake walks in, followed by Danny who's shouting at him. I can just tell it's all going to kick off

I need to intervene now. I get up and walk over to Jake. Everyone has stopped talking, they're just watching.
Chrissie: Jake you need to get over this!
Jake: Get over it! GET OVER IT! You sleep with my brother behind my back and you just expect me to get over it!
Ok that was the wrong thing to say!
Chrissie: Jake I've said I'm sorry, Danny's said he's sorry. What else can we say?
Jake: There isn't anything you can say! I don't want to speak to either of you again.
Danny: Jake you've got to stop hanging onto this. We only slept together!!!
Jake: You only slept togeher??? What planet are you on Danny. You stole my girlfriend. Just like all the others! No brother should do that!
I notice Sharon and Dennis walking in. They order something and sit at the back lost in each other. Lucy comes in a few minutes later unnoticed by them. I turn away from Jake and Danny and face Lucy.
Chrissie: What are you doing here?
Lucy: I needed a break Tracey and Mo are coping
Chrissie: Fine
I turn back to Jake and Danny while Lucy sits down with a cup of tea.
We just keep screaming at each other. Shouting everything. When suddenly there is a squeal of brakes outside. All of a sudden a car comes flying through the cafe. The lights go out and I hear a crash and screams. Then everything goes quiet as I fall to the floor

Jake's P.O.V

I eventually magange to sit up. I'm behind the counter and parts of the ceiling have fallen down around me. I can hear moans coming from all over. I stick my hand under the counter, praying Ian has one. Ah-Ha a torch. Please don't let it be out of batteries. It isn't. I stand up slowly and shine the light around. I see the car in the middle, a hole in the wall. Why did it have to be dark out? Cables are hanging everywhere and the driver is slumped forward, blood over the windscreen. Then I see the horror below me. Sharon is trapped underneath a car wheel. It looks like she was dragged along when the car came through. Blood is coming from her head. Dennis is at the back of the cafe, slumped on a table. He looks okay. I watch as he starts to stir.
Jake: Dennis, can you here me? Dennis?
Dennis; (slowly) What's going on? Oh my god!
Jake: We need to call for help or something. We can't move anybody.
Should I tell him about Sharon? He hasn't seen her. Then I see Chrissie and Danny. They're both lying there. Heads against the counter. Danny's turning blue. That can't be good.
Dennis: Where's Sharon?
I have to tell him. He'll find out sooner or later.
Jake: Dennis she's been dragged along with the car. She's underneath a wheel. She doesn't look good.
I can make out the clolour drainging from his face. The expression falling.
Dennis: Is she..she...alive?
Jake: Yes
How can I tell if she is? She could be dead.
Jake: Dennis we need to get out get help.
The both of us manage to scramble out from the rubble to the outside. I can hear sirens in the distance and a crowd has gathered.
Alfie: Jake are you Ok?
Jake: Yeah I'm fine. Just a few cuts and bruises. That's all. We need to help everyone else though. Danny and Chrissie don't look good. Neither does Sahron.
Paulin: What about Sharon?
Jake: She's trapped under the car. Blood everywhere.
Suddenly the ambulans, police cars and Fire engines come into view. They stop outside the cafe and push us all away. Dennis and I just stand there staring. The most important people in our lives are trapped inside. What's going to happen?

The firemen can;t do mcuh yet, they say they have to check the place over before barging in. The ambulance crew keep trying to drag me and Dennis away, but we just refuse. Why don't they understand? We love the people in there and they're dying. Suddenly Dennis hits me.
Dennis: Jake look the ceiling. It's coming down. We've got to get them out. The firmen haven't notice. Come on, we know where they are. We'll be quicker.
I hesitate. It really doesn't look safe.
Dennis: Think of Chrissie and Danny and Sharon and anyone else in there. We have to help.
Fine he's convinced me. We run in ignoring the shouts from outside calling us back. I watch as Dennis runs to Sharon and grabs her hand. I race over to Danny and Chrissie. They look so pale, but Danny is still concious.
Jake: Danny, can you hear me?
Before he gets a chance to reply ,someone shouts, I think it's that Lucy.
Lucy: Watch out!
I glance at Dennis and he looks as worried as I do. We glance up and see the whole of the roof falling in and crushing us! I grab Chrissie and Danny's hand and then I collapse.
