Sunday 6th November
Lloyd has a bad day. He’s out of hospital but is still feeling rough after his laxative poisoning. Kelly apologises but Lloyd can’t understand why she would do such an awful thing and threatens to dump her. Kelly can’t hold back any more and launches a verbal attack on Lloyd, telling him she knows all about what he gets up to on his so-called darts nights – climbing into another woman’s bed. Lloyd’s at a loss as to how to talk himself out of this one and things go from bad to worse when his cab windscreen gets smashed. Has Jimmy struck again?
Elsewhere, Martin finally manages to tell David he’s moving to Liverpool with Robyn. But in his bid to soften the blow he gives David the wrong end of the stick when he tells him he’s welcome anytime. Later at the bonfire, David misbehaves and when Gail tries to discipline him he lashes out, telling her he’s going to live with Martin. Gail’s furious and demands to know if this is true. How will Martin react to the idea of having his son share his new love nest?
Meanwhile, Gail’s getting increasingly fed up of Scooter’s laziness but when she complains to Sarah about his attitude, she doesn’t get the response she was expecting. Sarah’s had enough too and when Scooter presents her with another bizarre gift, she lets rip. Is it all over for the couple?
Monday 7th November
The streetcars drivers are called for a crisis meeting about the trouble with Jimmy Clayton. Steve is protective of Ronnie and Lloyd thinks they should take the girls off the road. But Ronnie doesn’t want to give in to Jimmy and when a call comes in from a former customer of hers, she insists on taking the job. However, it isn’t long before she realises that she has walked into a trap set by her former hubby and it looks as if he doesn’t intend for her to get out alive!
Janice and Leanne have a drink in the Rovers when Jamie walks in. Leanne is desperate to talk to him and goes over to say hello. What will hurt Jamie’s reaction be?
Martin is worried about David and when he goes to Gail’s to talk to his son, David’s reaction is cold and tells his dad that he must love his new girlfriend more than he does him. Will Martin be able to salvage their relationship before he moves away?
Elsewhere, Sarah tells Jason she has dumped Scooter
2nd Episode
Steve and Ronnie are in real danger as Jimmy proceeds to smash up the car whilst threatening them both with the gun. Lloyd races to the farm after hearing over the radio what is going on. But as he arrives at the scene, the police race down the road – are they in time or has Jimmy done his worst?
Candice gets a call form Barney who says the Quo still want her as their stylist. She instantly accepts. Maria thinks it’s a load of cobblers and reckons that Barney is winding her up because he fancies her. Candice waits patiently for her lift and there is no sign of the Quo. Has Candice been let down once more?
After Martin’s departure to Liverpool, Gail is devastated to get a call from the school to say that David is drunk. She rushes to pick him up and when they are back at home she tries to talk to him but he doesn’t want to listen to what she has to say.
Jason is happy his relationship with Violet is back on track but he just can’t shake the niggling thoughts of Sarahand the amazing night they had together.
Wednesday 9th November
David wakes up with a huge hangover after getting drunk the night before. Gail is very upset with him and warns her son that getting drunk is not the answer to his problems. David does eventually apologise for his behaviour and the Platt family prepare to say goodbye to Martin. When martin comes over, David pleads with his father not to go. Martin is torn but gently tells him he will always be the most important person in his life.
David becomes his usual stubborn self and walks away. But just as Martin is about to go, there is an emotional farewell. After saying goodbye to her ex-husband, Gail decides that life is too short and asks Phil out for dinner. They enjoy an intimate dinner at the pizzeria and it is clear that the night is not going to end there!
And elsewhere in Weatherfield, Leanne tries to tell Jamie how much she still loves him, but he tells her bluntly that he doesn’t want his father’s leftovers. Leanne later sees Jamie in the Rovers and watches as Jamie asks Joanne out on a date. Joanne is delighted but Leanne is gutted.
And over in the Salon, it’s Sarah's first day. She tries to impress Audrey with her efficiency, but when Jason arrives for a haircut she cannot help but flirt outrageously with him.
Friday 11th November
A thrilled Joanne looks forward to her date with Jamie. She enlists the other factory girls help in deciding what to wear. The evening doesn’t start off well for Joanne who, after choosing an inappropriate outfit to wear, clumsily keeps saying the wrong things. However, after the turmoil of recent weeks, Jamie is just pleased to have had a bit of fun again. The pair laugh about what a rubbish date they have both shared and as they return to the street they get involved in a passionate kiss. Joanne is thrilled but is an emotionally scarred Jamie on the rebound from Leanne?
Elsewhere, having enjoyed a night of passion with reflexologist Phil, Gail agonises over whether to inform her family that she has taken her relationship a stage further. However, Gail’s happy demeanour and the new found spring in her step is clear for all to see and when Audrey calls round for lunch she soon gets her daughter to spill the beans about Phil having stayed the night.
Meanwhile, it seems Gail is not the only member of the Platt family with romance on her mind as daughter Sarah still has her sights set on Jason. She flirts with him at the chip shop. Jason plays it cool but is Sarah affecting him more than he would like to admit?
