CBBC presenter Andrew Hayden-Smith, has landed a role in the new series of Doctor Who.

The Geordie is taking a few months off from his presenting job, to film the part of Jake Simmons in Cardiff.

Andrew's previous acting roles include Byker Grove.

Its been confirmed that his charcter will be in episodes 5 and 6, with the Cybermen
