Quirky TV comedian-cum-host Graham Norton will present a one-episode revival of the Generation Game.
To be screened later this year, the episode will feature teams of celebrity families. It will be billed as Generation Fame.
The game show has been on-and-off TV since 1971, with Bruce Forsyth, Larry Grayson and Jim Davidson all having taken the role of host. It last graced our screens in 2002.
The BBC would not comment on the possibility of a longer term comeback for the show.
