JESSIE Wallace revealed she shed “a lot of tears” after filming her final EastEnders scenes last week.
The 34-year-old actress — feisty Kat Moon in the soap — said: “It was so sad and, of course, difficult.
“I was very emotional but I know I’m doing the right thing in leaving.”
Viewers will have to wait until Christmas to find out whether Kat and ex-hubby Alfie (Shane Richie) ride off into the sunset together.
Mum Jessie, who lost out to Billie Piper for the Best Actress award, said she has new projects lined up. But she is not leaving Kat behind entirely. She giggled: “I’ve nicked half her wardrobe.”

it will be sad to see no more kat on EE she really is one of my faves!

No matter what projects Jessie does she will always be remembered as Kat Slater

Shane Richie said on an interview shown on this morning that him and Jessie are in work until Friday :confused:
They may be in work until friday but they might have already filmed their leaving episode and are just doing we bits at the moment

I met her coming out of Elstree on Wednesday so I know she may have filmed her last scenes last week but she was still in working this week! LOL!

ahh well i am now officially mourning the departure to kat moon. i wonder how she's going to leave... it'll either be something so predictable that we're basically reciting the lines as she says them, or something really unexpected (i think so, anyway)

Shane said that him and Jessie were reflecting over the past three weeks at one point, but they can't have been reflecting for a week surely :confused:
