Hi i thought i would create this thread for people to speak about the Watts family. I would just like to say they are the best family ever!

I love them too.. with the head of the family been Den and Angie (the most explosive and passionate couple on TV ever) you can't help but know that there will be trouble in the Watts

I liked the Watts family when Den first came back. The writers could have done something really special with them. I remember the first couple of episodes with Den (when he returned), and he seemed very much for family and looking after your own. Andy took him in to have a chat when he first arrived, and Den was very adamant with him. He said you can shoot me, but I don't want my family involved. It was probably the first time in his life that he had ever taken responsibility for anything. And I believe that he wasn't just protecting Sharon, and that he didn't want any harm to come to any of his kids.

All Den's values on family, and looking after your own, they were all destroyed, by Den's behaviour towards Dennis, and even Vicki. I don't know why he was willing to accept his and Zoe's child, when he seemed to have no interest in the ones he'd already got (excluding Sharon). I think the writers were wrong in alienating Den from his family. Families in all soaps work well together. And I think it works because on some level all the members in the family know that no matter what happens they will be there for each other.

That was Dens own fault, shame she didnt return to sort it out and see Chrissie murder him :D

It's awful for Sharon, but everything that happened (which made Sharon hate him) was Den's fault. She shouldn't feel guilty for what Den and Chrissie did.

It would have saved everybody a lot of heartache if Den hadn't have returned to Walford. But there were a few good storylines that came out of it, and I liked it when Den first returned. I think Leslie Grantham is a good actor, it was the writers that messed it up.

Yes it is, but the Watts family don't really exist anymore. Sharon and Dennis are Rickmans, Vicki is a Fowler, there's no Den. There's not really any chance of reinventing them now. It's sad but true.

I'm going miss Sharon and Dennis, they are good characters, and a great couple.

The watts won't be gone for long,sharon will be back,minus dennis,it sounded good to me when peggy said i'll kill sharon "watts" to a lot of people she'll allways be den and angies daughter sharon watts
