Britney Spears' ex-lover Justin Timberlake has begged people to "leave her alone".
The heartthrob singer leapt to the pop babe's defence after photographs of her month-old baby Sean Preston were leaked and posted on the internet. .
The 23-year-old singer told US TV show 'Access Hollywood': "It's a little crazy" He added: "When a person like her, who's obviously a sweet person, is having their first child, it's like, 'leave the girl alone, let her have the baby!'".
Justin - who is currently romancing screen beauty Cameron Diaz - said the incident shows how the hunt for celebrity photos is out of control. He said: "I do think that's crossing the line.
"That's her baby and those are her baby pictures".
Last week Britney pulled the plug on a magazine deal to publish the first pictures of Sean Preston. The sexy singer had reportedly already posed for snaps with husband Kevin.
Federline and their baby son for America's People magazine in a deal reputedly worth millions. However, Britney allegedly "freaked out" the day after the shoot sobbing to her representative that she was "selling out her baby" and couldn't give up the pictures. It's thought these may have been the snaps that were leaked to the internet.
