Don't know if this is in the right place
I was think about this after I watch hollyoaks, like Sarah said to Ryns (sp) if she was 20 and he was 23 than he would date her, but why will he not date her now as she? Is it because she not an adult so he thinks she will use him and she will go to school and say I have an older boyfriend.
So what do you guys and girls think?
This is a wierd one - my hubby and I are the same - my hubby is 7 years older than me and when we put it into school age context when I just started going to primary school, he had just gone to high school and the same would go for when I started high school at 12, he was a doorman at 19!!! We have a laugh about it, but there is almost a kind of stigma attached to it, when you are still at school - I know a lot of old friends of mine used to assume that if you were going out with someone older than you, then you must be having sex and stuff like that - I think my parents thought the same too. A lot of it comes to maturity when you are older I think...
Does any of this make sense Tigs :D ??

Mum and dad have got 7/8 years gap.. I think :p
The men tend to be older than the women from what I've seen, but I think thats something to do with maturity levels and you are more equally matched maturity wise that way lol
I'm 10 years younger than my boyf which we've got no problem with at all. Its quite funny sometimes when talking about misic and school etc. We went to the same school but 10 years apart, when he left school I was 6!.
We started going out when I was 19 and got some problems, mainly from his friends who said it wasnt going to last and that he just wanted at 19 year old on his arm, but 6 years later we are still together.
I do sometimes wonder who is 10 years older than who!
