With all this discussion on if you believe in god. I was wondering if anyone believes in psychics or has ever been to see one.

My sister is obsessed with them she went to see this lady she goes to this psychic lady last week whom she has seen before and she told her loads of stuff about the family and some scary stuff about me, which she couldn't possibly know as we have never met.

Anyway she told my sister stuff that is supposed to be going to be happening to me I won't discuss it as i think it's too personal, but coming back to who or what you believe in I do believe that my mum is with me every day I just find it very harrowing to comprehend that a stranger knows all about you.

100% No!

I think psychics are just con artists who have the ability to ask leading questions so that they get the answers from you without you realising.

100% yes chloe. I have been to see audience shows with Colin Fry and Tony Stockwell and was supposed to be going to see Derek Acorah but had to sell my tickets as it was on the 5th Dec and I am due on the 12th *gutted* and truly believe that there is something. No leading questions are asked, the specifics given by these 2 were astonishing and the emotions involved with the people that are being given the messages are real. They hardly ever predict the future.

I would not like to believe that there is pure nothingness after we leave this life - whilst I don't believe in God or that there is one, I do believe that there is another life after death and that our loved ones are always watching over us. I believe my nan is with me and my hubbys parents are involved in our lives - when we got married it was raining all day - we asked them to give us a break and 10 mins before our service, the sky turned blue and there was glorious sunshine until dusk. It stayed dry until we turned in for the night. Some may say coincidence, but I don't believe so..... :)

I think psychics are just con artists who have the ability to ask leading questions so that they get the answers from you without you realising. I agree there are a lot of people around that are fake, but I have been to many that a genuine. A genuine psychic never asks any questions, leading or other wise, they don't tell you things like "you are going to die soon". and they never charge for the service, unless you go to a large event held in a theatre. I went to a spiritulist church and was told that my brothers were ok and were watching me, I said don't have brothers, he said you do. On checking with my mum, I was told she lost twin boys at 8 months, two years before I was born, she never told me about it until the day.

i don't... they make money from making connections from what your answers are and then scare the hell out of you by saying stuff which you have told them is going to come true

I haven't been to one, so i don't really have an opinion of them (apart from what other people have said about them, but thats hardly fair for me to take their opinions, is it?!) I would go to see one if i had the chance. But to be honest, i really really don't know
