Mourning Deirdre: As many of you may have guessed after finding out that Zach was infact Dana, the private detective whose body was found in Zach/Dana's toy chest was Deirdre, the woman Mike has been searching for. Her father, Noah, bribed a homicide detective, Sullivan, to give Mike the file on the crime-- but Sullivan gave Mike a beating first. A bruised Mike sat down with the file and immediately spotted Paul Young's name on the list of toy chest purchasers. The game remains afoot. :hmm:

Thanks for nothing, Mom: Susan's Mom, Sophie, isn't helping her daughter mend her broken heart over Mike. Her lame idea of a blind date, with Lamont, who brought his own schnapps, ended in disaster. Susan's still carrying a torch for Mike, but not that Deirdre's case is heating up, he's got even less time for Miss lonelyhearts.

Two tickets to paradise: Bree cofesses to Andrew that her main problem with his being gay is that she believes it will keep him out of heaven. After an uncomfortable dinner with Reverend Sykes, she convinces Andrew Andrew to talk to the man privately. But onces he's assured that his secret will be kept in confidence, Andrew unspools a horrible tale of how he's planning to fool his mother into thinking he's changed, then somehow shock her to her core when she least expects it. A nervous Rev. Sykes is keeping the secret, but he's obviously disturbed by it. :nono:

Money for nothing: Gabrielle wants Carlos to tear up the postnup, but he refuses, and takes back her credit cards to boot. Teen lover John offers his, but when his mother finds out, the card is cut off. But when Gaby finds out that her feminine wiles will work with just about any man, she manages to cajole Carlos to tear up the document after all.

Love thy neighbour: Lynette has never cared for neighbour Karen McCluskey, but the two women keep getting thrown together. In the end, the motherly side of Lynette comes out, and she and the arthritis-stricken Karen becomes friends, of a sort. Love thy neighbour indeed. ;)

I think Deirdre was hired by someone to find Zach/Dana she's not related as far as I know but as this programme is sometimes very strange anything is possible. You know what as i'm writing this i've just had a thought maybe Deirdre just pretended to be a private detective but really she was Zach's mother. I think the first season in america is almost finished so if it's not all explained we will have to wait until season two.
