Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty is heading to the US to visit Kate Moss in rehab, according to newspaper reports.

The bad boy of the British music scene wants to do all he can to save his relationship with the supermodel.

But the paper said Kate's family are worried that seeing Pete is the last thing she needs.

Pete told his uncle Phil Michels: "I have told her that as soon as the tour has finished I will be there." Phil added: "Pete told me they are still very much an item and in love."

Meanwhile, tyre giant Pirelli is keeping Kate in it's famous calendar despite the drugs allegations against her. Pirelli UK boss Julie Naylor said: "Her private life is no concern of ours."

It appears that Kate does not want pete to visit her:

Poor Kate Moss is the talk of the town after her recent drug scandal.
So you would think that she would appreciate a visit from her on/off boyf Pete Doherty...

But apparently not, according to the Daily Mirror.
In fact, she has banned him from visiting her at the Meadows Rehab Clinic in Arizona.
Kate has informed the clinic that she will only see people who are closest to her.

Jefferson Hack, the father of her daughter Lila, has made a visit but Kate believes that seeing Pete may not be such a good idea.
A friend said: "She really values her family's support and doesn't want anything to derail her recovery.
"Everyone just wants Kate to concentrate on getting better."
We hope she does just that...

Glad to see she is seeing sense at last

Erm, no she brought them from someone in the studio! Just because he takes drugs does not mean he forced them upon her, and to be honest I am quite sick of people assuming he did!
