Time To Go
Carmella hits the road again, but not before she causes more trouble between Connor and his new love. Guilt-ridden over her manipulation of Connor, Carmella decides to leave Ramsay Street yet again this week. But not before she does serious damage to Connor's relationship with his current love, Serena! TV WEEK can reveal that Connor makes a shock confession to the teenage Serena - the feisty Carmella will always be one of the great loves of his life. Serena is gutted and also feels upset that Connor didn't reveal his true feelings to her earlier. "Serena is younger than Connor, but she has to be a mature adult and realise that he had a life before her," Patrick says. But Serena's sense of betrayal will skyrocket when she witnesses her boyfriend sharing a passionate farewell kiss with Carmella before she leaves Ramsay Street.
Earlier, Carmella feels remorseful when she learns that Connor is desperate to pay back the money she had lent him for an operation for his infant daughter, Maddy. For, unbeknown to Connor, the money didn't come from Carmella's family's shady business contacts, as she'd told him, but simply from Carmella's mother. Natalie says her alter ego would have done anything to win Connor over. "Connor is Carmella's first and only love. They've been through so much together. She was just desperate to get Connor backl," Natalie explains. "She thought his relationship with Serena wasn't serious. She thinks she and Connor belong together and she was in denial about Serena - she just didn't see her as competition at first."
However, before Carmella has a chance to tell Connor the truth about the loan, Connor - terrified of what may happen to him if he doesn't repay the "Mafia" money - takes matters into his own hands. He stages a mugging on the street to cover up the fact that he has stolen takings from the bikini shop. Things quickly get worse for Connor when local police officer Stuart becomes suspicious, finding that his friend's story just doesn't add up. Eventually, unable to keep her secret any longer, a guilty Carmella caves in and tells Connor everything. Connor is naturally furious at first. "He goes off at her," Patrick says. "He thinks, 'It's just like all the other times she played mind games with me'. He's upset and angry with her, and rightly so."
But after venting his feelings, Connor is able to forgive Carmella, admitting that she'll always hold a very special place in his heart. "At the end of the day, he knows she was just desperate to spend time with him," Patrick says. "If he were to put himself in her shoes, he probably would have done the exact same thing to spend time with her." Nevertheless, Connor is quick to point out to Carmella that he's with Serena now - and he remains committed to her. That's why, Connor feels, he must tell Serena everything. But Serena is far from understanding when Connor reveals all to her. Is this the end of their relationship?
Crossed Wires
Convinced that Ramsay St newcomer Ned Parker is gay, Toadie tries to do everything he can to make him feel comfortable about "coming out". "It's a bit of a comedy of errors between the two of them," laughs Dan O'Connor, who plays Ned. "It's a lot of fun." But Elle knows that Toadie has jumped to the wrong conclusion about Ned. Later, Stu's brother confesses all to Elle. What's his secret?
Meanwhile, the attraction between Janae and Boyd grows stronger. But it seems that Janae is still playing games with him. Will they ever be honest about their feelings for each other?
Anxious Wait
Dylan and Stingray lie low as police gather clues about the robbery. His nerves at breaking point over keeping silent about the armed robbery Dylan committed to save his life, Stingray is struggling to keep it together. While his brother, Dylan, was unrecognisable on the security camera footage, Stingray is still terrified the truth will come out.
Eventually, Dylan tells Stingray he's willing to turn himself in. However, certain the police won't believe their side of the story, Stingray says they have no choice but to keep quiet. But everything will change when Dylan learns the weapon he used in the robbery, which is covered with his fingerprints, is about to be handed into the police! "Dylan very much wants the fairytale ending, but it certainly doesn't look like it's going to go that way," Damien says.
Will Stingray be able to keep his nerve, so that he and Dylan don't arouse suspicion?
