Paris Hilton has sent an apology letter to Nicole Richie in an attempt to put an end to their highly publicised feud (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/article/ds20626.html).
The hotel heiress, who now apparently realises that she has been "petty", was persuaded by mutual friends to forgive her Simple Life co-star.
"Paris just wanted to call things a day after friends stepped in and told her she was being petty," a source told Femalefirst.co.uk.
The Simple Life was recently dropped (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/article/ds25166.html) by the Fox network, although NBC and The WB are rumoured to be interested in picking the show up.
