Week 44 - PI
Monday
Peggy sets the agenda for the Mitchells – they have to get Sam out. Grant wants to put pressure on Stacey so she admits the truth about Chrissie’s alibi…
Dawn is unimpressed when Keith brings home a huge present for Aleesha’s birthday, only to admit it was from Pauline.
Elsewhere, Tina is hurt when Johnny stresses that she will not be able to wear her engagement ring until he has spoken to Ruby.
Tuesday
Johnny’s short with Tina when she asks him when he’s going to tell Ruby. Ruby feels compelled to tell Tina about Johnny kissing Amy but Stacey encourages her to stay out of it.
Unaware that they are being overheard, Chrissie makes it clear to Jake that she needs to get everything sorted.
Thursday 3rd November
Grant imposes that they have to up the ante and speak to Jake but Peggy puts her foot down – it’s the people that are supporting Chrissie’s lies that they have to speak to. Peggy assigns herself the job of tracking down Stacey…
Johnny impresses to Dennis that they have to play a psychological game and get under the skin of Phil and Grant.
Friday 4th November
Ruby panics when she wakes up and realises that Stacey hasn’t slept in her bed. She tells Kat who storms into the Mitchell’s trying to find out more about Stacey’s disappearance…
Elsewhere, Patrick anticipates the opening of the car lot.

Maybe it is a 'an enemy of my enemy is a friend of mine' situation? Dennis may not like Johnny but he dislikes the Mitchells more, especially Phil and Grant. Same goes for Johnny.

Chrissie leaves in November, so I don't think the Christmas Eve thing is true. If it is, I think it'll just be Jake or someone mentioning that the verdict was guilty.
Unless they do something similar to what they did with Sharon and Den's death -- film scenes way in advance before the actress leaves. :searchme:

Jake's staying in the show -- there's a picture of him at the airport with a policeman holding his arm, so he may be arrested and released, or the policeman might just be wanting to make sure he doesn't make a run for it. :searchme:

JJ Kat has been around, but her storylines were not that impressive.

Alfie gets a friend to dress up as a policeman and pretend to arrest her. (Or it might be a friend who is a policeman, I don't know.) He doesn't tell Nana though, as obviously she wants to be arrested properly, not just pretend.
But since Nana doesn't know, she harasses some policemen in the Square, and gets arrested for real.
And then some ridiculous situation happens where I think Alfie's friend ends up arresting Pat by mistake. (I'm a little hazy on that part, so don't shoot me if it doesn't happen.) :lol:
