I cant believe everyone in walford's getting so worked up about dawn spending their money on a boob job. she didn't ask for the money and she tried twice to refuse it - it was just rosie being her usual interfering self (she was only trying to help, i know - but she reminds me too much of my mum)
if dawn wants a boob job then go her :cheer: and no one asked peggy to make that big donation so she should shut up
I can understand Peggy being worked up as she's suffered from Breast cancer and as she said there are thounsands of women waiting for breast reconstructions on the NHS having had a mastomey

That's right, she didn't. Dawn didn't even want to tell anybody she was having an operation, but because Rosie found the letter she jumped to the wrong conclusion. I can't believe that she opened the letter, it's just not something that anybody should do, my mum certainly wouldn't do it. She has the right to do what she likes, if she wants to keep that part of her life private then that's her decision. She didn't correct anybody because it was none of their business. And if the residents of Walford want to give their money away on something that they don't even know what it's for, that's their look out.
It shows what a nice person she is though, going round and apologising to everybody. And also that she doesn't back away from an argument, standing up to Peggy.

i wouldnt be happy if i thought my money which i thought i was giving for a life saving operation went for a boob job id be livid! so i can see why peggy was annoyed about it.
I can see why Peggy was annoyed and upset by it, but she did give the money to get one up on Chrissie and to score popularity points, so she didnt really have the right to have a go as she didnt give the money to help dawn in the first place.

Exactly! I think Peggy was just in a bad mood because of what had happened to her during the day. Everything with Johhny upset her.

Yeah,i think that's why Peggy was in a bad mood too.
But even if it wasn't that,i can totally understand why Peggy was so upset about it,after what she has been through herself.

i can see why everyone is annoyed with it after donating a lot of money. but it was their choice to do so. ok Dawn didnt tell them exactly what it was for but she should have to. its no one elses bussiness what she does. she didnt intend for the whole square to find out nor did she intend for them to give her money. it was the millers who decided to take donations dawn knew nothing about it.
ok there is a lot pf people who have breast cnacer and need reductions or who are seriously ill but some people can feel just as depreased and ill with small boobs. lol, dawn didnt say it was life threatening or too serious so she was telling the truth, just everyone else over reacting.

I agree with the top two posts!! She can indeed do whatever she wants for the money she didn't ask for or said no thank-you to!!
Peggy is very sad as she gave her alot of money and she had breast cancer problems before..
But.. Im wondering why Stacey is stirring it up with Dawn!! :hmm:

the actress who plays dawn hasn't had a boob job, but says she may have one one day, but for now she has to wear chicken fillets.

it's not really dawn's fault that peggy donated the money, she never asked for it and peggy didn't even care about dawn, though peggy has got a point about breast cancer.

When Peggy was shouting at her and Dawn's face fell after she tried to get out of it, was sooooo enjoying myself. Go Peggy! Dawn's so sly...and eeeeevil. (over-the-top, I know)
Come on, what century are the EE people living in?! I mean, i understand that they're angry that she wasn't really ill and didn't tell them, but as someone said, she didn't exactly ask for the money. Its normal now for people to have plastic surgery, its not unheard of.
I think this story is fab though. Dawn has brought EE up-to-date. Congrats EE, for thinking of such a fab charcter :cheer:

True, true. She didn't ask. It was a bit pathetic of her family to start asking around without asking Dawn about it. And, it is the norm to have cosmetic surgery nowadays. And, I completely agree with you that she has brought it up to date.
What I didn't like was how Dawn just wrapped people like Dot and Pauline around her finger. But I admire it as well.

dont know if this had been mentioned yet but didnt dawn recover quickly from her boob job, she dosent seem to be in any pain at all surely she would be??

You are normally supposed to have quite a lot of pain,she had it done less than a week oga and no pain whatsoever!!
