Ian Brady has written to ITV in an effort to stop an upcoming drama about the Moors Murders from being broadcast, according to The Mirror.

Brady, who committed the murders with Myra Hindley, previously complained about the programme last month.

In a message to producers, he writes, "Your profit-motivated drama ignores the effects on relatives of the victims."

Writer Neil McKay has insisted, "The drama provides a sober and unsensational account of the most notorious crimes of the last century. It tells the extraordinary story of how Ian Brady and Myra Hindley were brought to justice.

"But the focus is not only on their crimes but also on the effects of those crimes on the families of their victims and on Myra Hindley's sister, Maureen."

Executive producer Jeff Pope added, "We felt that now was the right time to make this programme. In the anniversary year of the trial, when Myra's heavily pregnant sister Maureen took the stand against her, we are going to take an in-depth look at how two of Britain's most notorious child killers were caught."

Hmmm...he can talk about not thinking about the relatives of the victims....when it was him that killed them.

Um well he commited the crime so I dont think he has any right to comment on what the victims familes feel. If it was them saying it, it would be a different story.

If had been hung when he was convicted then we would not have to listen to his sanctimonious crap now
