Boy George arrested in New York

Boy George has been arrested in New York City on suspicion of cocaine possession.

The singer apparently reported a burglary at his apartment in the early hours of Friday morning. Reuters quotes a NYPD spokesperson as saying that the singer was found in a "drugged stupor" when officers arrived. The officers, the spokesperson added, found a small quantity of cocaine next to the star's computer.

It is understood that in addition to a drug possession charge, Boy George will also be charged with making a false report due to his earlier burglary call.

He's weird.. He is nice I know him, you only see what he wants you to see. I think someone set him up,you wouldn't be that stupid to call the police for a burglary,knowing you have drugs on show, sound very fishy to me

Maybe someone knew he had taken cocaine and then called the police to get them round there. But why wouldn't they just say he's been taking cocaine...? Hmmmm
