i don't know which one to go for!!

i like the nano because its so small, but i'd be at risk of sitting on it and damaging it, but the iPod is more expensive :searchme: i don't know and i need help lol!

I've got the nano, but have never had a "normal" one, so wouldn't know how to compare, though I have heard that there have been a few teething probs with the nano, like the screen breaking for no reason etc

the battery isn't covered by a warranty and in somecases i don't think the screen has been either

Well my mate was gonna get a nano, but she heard that there have been problems with it like it snapping and the screen breaking and stuff, so i think she is just getting a ipod mini!

i hyave always wanted a mini, but they're going out of production and apple don't do them anymore so there sin't any point in getting one, so i'm really stuck now!!!

Apple are going to replace any nanos that screens break and they are aware of this happening, so there is no problem there at all...

My battery has lasted for ages so far and I charged it initially for 3 hours even though it appeared to be fully charged within an hour! I am really pleased with mine... :D

id get a nano personally because my mate spent loads on a normal ipod and hes still got like 8000 songs left to fill so it was kindof a waste of money as the memory is far to big. at the end of the day its up to you.

well one of the off putting factors is that the memory is so large- i would struggle to fill a 512mb memory...

Tori
07-10-2005, 21:10
thats one of my concerns- i'll get a 20gb one and then i'll only be using like 0.1% or something, which is not good!

yeah.... i'm gonna keep moaning on about how much i want a mini lol! sorry guys...

the thing is though, soon they won't do software to support it and the accessories etc, so there is no point, but the iPod nano is so fragile i don't wanna get one in case i break it!!

Jojo

You can still buy mini's. I have the exact same problem on which iPod to get. I have decided on a mini though, as I feel a nano is just too small and I just think it's too small. I am going to get a mini from John Lewis' as they still sell them. Just shop around for a mini if that's what you want

Personally I have a Creative Zen 20gb which I think is excellent. Like most folk on here I dont think I will ever fill it

i do want a mini, it's just the fact that in say 12 months time, they'll be obsolete and if anything goes wrong then it won't be fixed
