The cast of Casualty and Holby City join forces in this special
episode. It is Halloween and paramedics Josh,Woody and Luke are
giving a demonstration at a failing school.Two of the children are
badly burned when they bob for apples – someone has put acid in
the water.
As they treat the injuries, Josh loses his patience with an
unruly boy and he lashes out at him. As Comfort tries to take the
pupils to hospital in the ambulance some of the thugs hijack it.
Comfort and the teacher, Nick, are trapped inside and, as Comfort
tries to protect Nick, she is beaten up. When Comfort is taken to
the hospital, her condition deteriorates and she needs an operation.
The procedure does not go well and the paramedic loses a lot of
blood.
Matt discovers a hidden entry wound – she has been stabbed.
Diane fights to save Comfort, but will she pull through..?
Meanwhile, Chrissie gets the test results she has been waiting for –
she can have a baby. Spurred on by her news, Chrissie gives Owen
an ultimatum – he must choose between her and Diane...

Matt Wait, Comfort by Martina Laird, Nick by James Gaddas (Bad
