cast members not returning

Heard the other day on Irish tv channel that 3 main cast are not coming back for second series... As the series is finished here in Ireland I can only assume Jin, Michael and Sawyer not returning.. For those of you who haven't seen final eppi.. watch it! It is the best ending to a series, you are still left with no clue and so many unanswered questions... Can't wait for second series!!!!!!!

If you read the American spoilers (season 2 just started over there) all 3 of those charcters come back initially. All the main characters are back, but there is supposed to be 2 females leaving bout halfway through the series.

Dunno if you would call it "Axed", when they were employed they were all advised they could be written out the show at any time, given the nature of it. Its a clause in their contracts.

yes it is boone. he died the episode before the one that the pictures taken. shannon dies in series 2 just incase ya all didnt know xx

How does Boone die?

If you watch the E4 episodes, then in 2 weeks, if you watch c4 episodes in 3 weeks. locke and boone are out in the jungle basically looking for a crashed plane that locke saw in his dream. they find it, on top of a cliff, no survivors and locke said could have been there 2 - 20 years. theyre drug smuggelers from nigeria. boone goes inside the plane because locke has injured his leg and boone finds a radio, he manages to get through to someone on the radio and says hes a survivor from flight 815 which crashed there, and someone is listening and hears him, but then the plane falls off the cliff with boone inside, boone get injured and locke takes him back to the caves where jack tries to save him but cant, and just as he dies claires baby is born.
another spoiler - the people who boone hears on the radio are the other survivors of flight 815 from the tail end of the plane.

trust me, its boone, look here - http://lost-media.com/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=displayimage&album=382&pos=85 ive watched this episode and all the other episodes up to where americas up to. boone dies in series 1, only other one who dies is artiz (not sure how its spelt) but he isnt a main character, hes a science teacher who was on the plane. the french woman comes to the beach, tells everyone they gotta hide cuz the 'others' are coming for 'the boy' (walt) so they ask her if she knows of any explosives on the island and she takes them to the black rock. anyway the science teacher guy says hes knows how to handle explosives...but ends up blowing himself up.

"The Greater Good"

Sayid watches Shannon grieve over Boone's body. He comforts her and asks if there is anything he can do for her, but she shakes her head silently. Meanwhile, Kate goes to find Jack, who has been out in the jungle searching for Locke. She tells him that the group is scared and upset and want him to come back, which he does. The group goes about a burial for Boone. Jack asks if Shannon wants to say something - but she can't. Hurley speaks up on his behalf and says that though he didn't know Boone well, he was a good guy who will be missed and remembered for his courage.

Locke comes into the scene and immediately takes blame for Boone's death. He tells the group that they found a Beechcraft lodged in a tree canopy and that he would've gone up himself, but that his leg was hurt. He also reveals that the plane held a radio which Boone attempted to use before his weight shifted, causing the plane to fall. "It happened because he was trying to help us - he was a hero." But Jack isn't buying it and breaks toward Locke, screaming at him for lying and leaving Boone to die. And all the exhaustion and emotion, on top of the blood transfusion from the last episode, has caught up with Jack, who collapses.

gave blood to boone to try to save him, but didnt work, so he then went to cut boones leg off to see if that would work, but boone didnt want him to and told jack to let him go
