Sharon Stone defended Kate Moss at a news conference in Paris on Tuesday.
Moss is currently at a rehab clinic in Arizona and has publicly apologised after being photographed apparently taking cocaine.
"I'd like to say as for Kate Moss, I understand that she has apologized and is changing her life. And I think that that is the most important thing that's happened," said Stone, accordingto Reuters. "I think that we have to be aware that people are allowed to make mistakes in their life," she added.
Stone also slammed companies that have terminated contracts with Moss. Major contracts including those with H&M, Burberry and Chanel have been dropped since the scandal broke.
