Kat & Little Mo, How different are they?

Look how much Little Mo has been through in her young life.

1. Her mother dying

2. Being married to Trevor (evil!) for 8 years (how did she survive that long!)

3. Going to prison. She's such a naive, timid woman. However long she was in there was too long.

4. Being raped by Graham and having a child by him.

5. Losing the husband she loved.

6. Alfie choosing her sister over her, and again losing somebody she was in love with.

How does she keep going. Kat and Little Mo's appearances are so deceptive. Little Mo seems shy and timid on the outside, but she has this inner strength, she's such a strong person. Then there's Kat completely the opposite. On the outside she is loud and carefree. But she's attempted suicide.

It seems as if Kat is stuck in limbo but Little Mo just keeps going. So who do you think is the strongest? They have been through similar events in their lives, but they both handle them very differently.

Yes she's really great! Although Kat has had to live with what Harry did to her since was 13.

Yeah,i think Little Mo must be the strongest,after all she's been through.
But Kat is still my favourite out of the two though!!

I think they've both been through the mill a bit - Kat had to deal with what Uncle Harry did, her mum not believing her/telling Charlie, her parents taking her child from her and then having to watch them bring her up, plus she went through her mum dying has been to prison, has pretty much prostituted herself to save her husband etc, and apart from anything else, Little Mo shouldn't have had to deal with Alfie choosing Kat over her as she shouldn't have got involved with him in the first place!

I totally prefer Kat though, and she has always admitted that she puts on a front with everyone in order to try and protect herself......

Mo is stronger than Kat on the inside but I can see why that it.

Kat has had to hide her true feelings and her secret from people for 18 years. She had to keep secret what Harry had done to her from her family, and she had to keep secret that she was Zoe's mother from her sisters (Mo and Belinda) as well as people from outside the family, and Zoe herself. It must have been hard for Kat to have sat there watching her mother looking after Zoe, feeding her, holding her etc. Because of this I think that Kat grew up hiding her feelings, pretending she was fine and putting on a front to hide her pain. Kat grew up doing this so she got used to it and just carried on doing it. People thought that Kat was dirty and a slapper so she acted the part.

Both Kat and Mo were abused by people who claimed to love them but Mo was always so naive about life. I remember the episode when she told Kat that Trevor had raped her, when Kat asked her about the other times, I get the feeling that she did not understand that Trevor had actually been raping her and that was wrong. She said something like don't use that word (rape) to Kat and went on about how Trevor was her husband.

One thing that always annoyed me about Kat and Mo's relationship was the fact that Kat never did more to get Mo away from Trevor or help her understand sooner that Trevor had no right to rape her and abuse her. I know that Mo never told Kat the whole story, but Kat did know that Trevor was a nasty piece of work and he had beaten Mo, yet all Kat ever did was have a go at her and slag Trevor off.

I used to prefer Mo but after the whole Alfie/Kat/Mo stuff I have gone right off her. I still like Kat but only when she is not with Alfie as I hate Alfie with a passion. :angry:

they both have had simular lives. i think Little Mo is the strongest mentaly but i dont think kat is far behind her.

kat seems to put on a front and be more loud and outgoing than i think she really is deep down.

Little mo doesnt put on that front (oftern) she is who is she even if it is a run down housewife (from time to time). they both have dealt with their situations in different but their own ways.

Kat tried to commit suicide which straight away tells us she isnt as strong as her younger sister. But Kat has been through so much at such a young age, the things with Harry, having a baby whilst still a child her self, having it taken away and being completly shut out and neglected by her family, having her whole past dragged up in the middle of a public place, loosing a baby, having alfie confessing that he's already married, prostituting her self to andy, ect.

Little mo on the other hand was more mature when going through the thigns she went through in her life. Trevor, prison, rape, having a baby etc. she was already much more capable to deal with the things life threw at her where as kat wasnt because of her age. so thats what makes me think Kat could be just as strong as her sister beauce she had to deak wiht much more as a child than mo did.

But we can see the strengh in the timid little mo by her fighting back to an abusive husband.

9. Sleeping with Andy and ruining her marriage
10. Ending up in prison after she left Walford cos of Andy
11. Finding out that her own daughter was involved in a murder
12. Zoe leaving for good
13. Finding out about 'Molfie' :angry:

Yes they do. Although I suppose you don't know how strong you are before you have a problem thrown at you, dealing with situations in your life make you stronger.

I love Little Mo and Kat, they are brilliant characters.

I think it was the straw that broke the camel's back. She'd just spoken to Harry and she was all over the place. I don't think her commiting suicide is automatically the weaker thing to do though, sometimes it can be quite brave. Some people wouldn't have the guts to do something like that.

I don't think we can really say which one is the strongest, they have both come through terrible ordeals. People are just different at handling situations.

They have botth been through a lot of horrid things in their lifetime
