Do you care what people think of you?

something we were saying at school today got me thinking, do you care what other people think of you? do you not care at all and are always yourself? or are you someone that wants to be liked and accepted by everyone and really wants to impress people? just wanted to know really!

I shouldn't, but I do care about what certain people think of me, not only my family, but some people in my class whom I don't get on with - My reasoning being, I'm friends with my mates because I like their personalities and I get on well with them, if they didn't feel the same we wouldn't know each other (especially as we're in different classes).

Family only - I don't really care what others think of me, though, friends tend to come and go, whereas my family (as in my hubby and my kids, anyone else ah well) are the world to me and without them, I wouldn't be the person that I am - so I do care about what they think of me :D

if people i dont know (or anyone for that matter) dont liek me beacuse of who i am, then i'm not going to go chaning becasue this is me. if i changed, into someone they liked, found less anoying or whatever, lol then they wouldnt be liking the real me anyway, they'd be liking some pretend fake person. who whats the point.

i used to care a lot and be really paranoid what everyone around me though, but i just dont care any more. if people dont like me then fine, we wont talk etc, it doesnt bother me if someone turns cold on you beacuse after all i wouldnt want a mate who doesnt like me anyway. like if i'm not their mate and they say something, i couldnt care beacsue they dont know me and if they're not close to me i dont care.

obvioudly not everyone gets along with everyone, so ijust forget about the people i dont get on with. there's no point changing etc beacsue you are who you are!

Depends, if it was my family and friends then yer, of course. But if it was the idiots at school then no. But if it was my crush then most likely not. But i still might make sure i don't do anything stupid in front of him!! I don't want to make my slef look like a fool! But if he see's me mucking about having a laugh i don't mind! Teachers? Not so much. They can get stuffed!
