Remington wet to stright £65 -£70

there really good ive got them they get your hair as stright as Ghds do, i love em lol.

You can use them on wet hair so theres no need for hairdryers lol
But you can use them on there own too.

hope that helps

Tori

I'd recommened GHD if you can get them cheap as they are usually around 90 quid but remingtons are as good an they are only 20

Tori
07-10-2005, 17:42
hmmm yeah, well i'll have a look at the weekend!

I know this is a really old post and youll probably have some straighteners by now! but i really recomend Vidal Sasoon Ceramic Maximum straightener. I bought them from my local Asda (would you believe it!) for £20 and they fantastic! I'd say as good as GHDs!

Dr. Tangliss
11-11-2006, 17:09
GHD's all the way baby! They are fantastic, but are costly.

What ones did you end up getting?

Layne
11-11-2006, 20:37
Old topic i know, but i have FHI ones, i bought them from my salon and i love them. & they go dark red when they are hot enough!!

Tori
11-11-2006, 20:52
I still haven't got any, I just ended up giving up on them and i found some shampoo that seems to work... i can't remember the name, maybe lee stafford poker straight?

Dr. Tangliss
11-11-2006, 22:18
Yeah, I have that and it's good, although admittedly I ended up paying to have my hair perm straightened.....which was worth it.

Babyliss definatly, you get 25% more length on the ceramic plates and they came better than GHD's in a survey. For £60, the best you can get are ones that go to 230C and they're brilliant!

Jessie Wallace
25-11-2006, 09:50
I've got Vidal Sassoon they cost me £20 and are excellent, better than the hair dressers ones.

annaz
25-11-2006, 09:54
Wow £20! What temperature do they go up to? My first straightners were £7 ones from avon that aren't very good. I love my Babyliss ones though!

Jessie Wallace
25-11-2006, 09:56
I have no idea, but they are the best i've ever had. So expensive is not always best!

annaz
25-11-2006, 09:58
Yeah, people who use GHDs for ages say their hair snaps literally in their fingers, plus GHD's are most likely to set on fire as they have no protective cap.

Jessie Wallace
25-11-2006, 10:00
Well i'm not that interested in them to know about all that, i just know what mine are and that they are very good.

lol! I only bought them cos they were the ones they used at the hair dressers. I like them cos they heat up to 230C in 30 seconds and I only need to go through it once cos I'm normally in a hurry in the morning.

Abigail

I've got a pair of Nicky Clarke kinder 4 hair. Fairly expensive, £50 but they are excellent. They're ionic too so it reduces all the frizz and fly aways.

GHD mini styler, the one with the small thin plates, usually for short men's hair and women's bobs! x

Emmie
04-01-2009, 20:14
