whats your favourite story line of all time in eastenders?
Mine is the domestic abuse storyline with Trevor and Little Mo. Trevor was a great bad guy and his eyes freaked me out . Trevor was evil and Kacey and Alex worked so well together and had great chemistry.
The few things I did'nt like about this storyline was the fact that I wanted to find out more about Trevor's past and why he was like he was, and the fact that I thought the ending was a bit far fetched as I could not believe that Billy and Little Mo's family could not see what Trevor was up to when he was harassing Little Mo during October 2002. After all they all knew what Trevor had done to Little Mo during the years (beating her, raping her, abusing her, cheating on her with Donna) yet they all seemed to dismiss her cries for help at first.

Yes this was one of my favourite storylines as well. Trevor was pure evil!
I also think it was far fetched that the family didn't believe Little Mo's cries for help. How couldn't they see what he was like? I think they were married for about 5 years, surely they recognised how much control he had over her. A family like that would not let this go on. They should have stuck their oar in sooner than they did. They didn't do anything until Little Mo ended up in prison. It seemed too little too late. Good thing Billy came along when he did, or she may never have found the courage to leave him.
Fabulous storyline, it showed acting at it's best!
Yeah, I always wondered why the Slaters never really did much untill after the event, still this is the Slaters we are talking about! Their way of dealing with things is to shout and scream .
I miss Trevor. Even though he was an evil character, I did like him in a way. I think it was his accent

The way Trevor said 'Mo' was a bit daft lol. Do you think it was a realistic portrayal of the accent? or do you think he put it on a bit?
We don't know what occured before the Slaters arrived in the square, so we can't be sure that they didn't do anything to try and steer Mo away from Trevor. But I still think they should have tried a lot harder. They never have trouble interfering in people's lives, I find it difficult to understand why they didn't poke their nose into Little Mo's life. They must have seen that something wasn't right.
I think Little Mo and Trevor lived away from the rest of the family before they came to Walford though. I seem to remember it being said. Maybe they didn't realise that Trevor was stopping her from seeing her family. I think Belinda has been quite distant since marrying Neville. Maybe they felt she was deliberately avoiding them.
I don't know about the accent to be honest, but it was funny when he said 'Mo' the way he did, it was Trevor's calling card. Trevor would bellow 'Mo' and Little Mo would come running :).
I would think that Trevor and Little Mo would have lived away from the family as I doubt that Trevor would have been all too happy about having to share Little Mo with her family. I think that was part of the problem with Trevor, that he wanted Little Mo to himself. I would have loved to have seen what would have happened if Trevor and Little Mo had to live with the Slaters for a while, it would have been dirty looks all around.
The Slaters are an odd bunch though and they do all seem to be wrapped up in their own little world, just look at Zoe and her obsessions with Ant Nee and Dennis. Little Mo was in prison and all Zoe cared about was Ant Nee (aka the spineless jelly). Also Little Mo loved him so I doubt she would have listened to the Slaters anyway.

Yes I agree. Trevor had so much control over Little Mo it would have been difficult for the family to break her away from him. But then again giving Little Mo some hard hitting facts might have done the trick.
Billy knew Little Mo all of 5 minutes and realised there was something not right about their marriage. He set out to find something on Trevor which would guarantee Little Mo saw his true colours, and he found Donna. How many other women do you think there had been before her? There were bound to be a few in 8 years of marriage. Now how difficult would it have been for Kat to find out about Donna or another member of the family. I think your right about the Slaters being wrapped up in their own little world.
Trevor and Little Mo may have lived away from the Slaters when they got married but they still seemed like a close knit family when they arrived. Somebody should have seen it, and acted.
I reckon there were other women before Donna. Little Mo would have believed anything Trevor had said to her so it would not have been hard for him to see other women and get away with it. He was proberly seeing Donna for months, maybe over a year.
I think the Slaters just liked to bury their heads in the sand and do nothing. It happened with Kat and Harry and the same with Little Mo. The Slaters did more harm than good sometimes. Just look what Lynne did in court, shouting and getting herself kicked out of the court room, and Kat dressed in that red outfit on the first day of the trial. They really know how to make a good impression, those Slaters.

When Little Mo was taken by Billy to the house Trevor shared with Donna, we saw Donna was about 8 months pregnant. Donna and Trevor continued seeing each other after Sean was born, so it must have been over a year that they were together. Why Donna would have stayed with him knowing he had a wife, I don't know?! I can't remember whether she knew about Little Mo when they first met, but it would have been the perfect opportunity for Donna to walk away from him, but she didn't, and she seemed a lot stronger character than Little Mo too. It showed how difficult it was to walk away from him. I suppose them having a child together made it harder.
The Slaters do need to talk more about their problems. They don't seem to be able to have a proper conversation, without shouting at each other. And when something bad happens they are very quick to judge, like when Little Mo got raped, Charlie placed a lot of the blame on Billy, for not protecting her, because he felt guilty, he has to displace responsibility onto him. They jump down people's throats without looking at the facts.
