Heres his latest take on the soaps. Personally I think he has summed them up very well Mirror (http://www.mirror.co.uk/tvandfilm/shelleyvision/)

I disagreed with many things in that article, but it was funny too.
I disagreed with:

Personally, I'd have offered Nigel Harman and Jessie Wallace to name their price but no one's going to lament the departure of Vicki, Sam or the ludicrous Lady Macbeth wannabe Chrissie Watts.

Losing Michelle Ryan (Zoe Slater), however, left the show curiously lacking in the sexsymbol department - Pat Evans's penchant for pineapple rings notwithstanding.

[QUOTE]Personally, I'd have offered Nigel Harman and Jessie Wallace to name their price Sorry but they were two of the most overated ''stars'' of the show. Nigel Harman has often been described as wooden. This does a disservice to the forests of Britain. At least Jessie had a bit of acting ability at least when she had scripts that didnt involve constant shouting. However she IMHO got too big for her boots and began to think she was bigger than the show. It got to the stage she was better known for her ''tired and emotional'' private life than she was for her on screen persona
but no one's going to lament the departure of Vicki, Sam or the ludicrous Lady Macbeth wannabe Chrissie Watts. I agree with you there. Tracey Anne Doberman started off well but again got carried away
