Kate Moss's agent Sarah Doukas has defended the disgraced supermodel against allegations she is a bad parent to daughter Lila Grace, insisting she is a "fantastic mother".
The beauty has suffered a barrage of abuse since a newspaper published photographs of her allegedly snorting cocaine - but Doukas, who has known the model for 18 years, says threats to call in social services are unnecessary.
And she confidently dismisses claims Lila Grace - who turns three tomorrow (29SEP05) - could be taken into care.
She says, "It won't happen. I've seen Kate with Lila and she's a fantastic mother. She's with her a lot.
"She doesn't always take her travelling but Kate has a very close relationship with Jefferson Hack (Lila's father). They're a close unit."

The sad thing when it comes to children, especailly young ones, is they don't have a choice about their environment. Kate needs to think more like a mother and less like a party animal, and grow up.

even though she takes drugs she still can be a good mother she has plenty of money she isnt one of those parents who cant afford drugs so the kids have to do without clothes,food christmas and birthdays lets face it she's not a proper addict

dosent matter if she couldnt afford them, to me her daughter is suffering, what if she took to much one day and died??? she wouldnt be able to get her daughter clothes, food, etc then would shre! and her daughter woudl be without her mum

'Not a proper addict'?!? Just because someone has money doesn't stop them from being addicted to drugs.
She is not thinking about her child, she is being selfish and irresponsible.

Apparently she is in rehab, I'm gessing you dont go into rehab unless you are a seriouse addict.
a good mother does all she can for her child making sure there children are happy,she can not do this while on drugs.she is a disgrace and as debs said if it were anyone else theyd have there child taken off them like a shot.

Sorry, but that is the biggest pile of c**p I have ever heard. So, if I killed someone, but I had millions of pounds and donated it to charity, would I not be classed as a proper murderer??

i agree, anyone else and social services would be round like a shot. but you seem to get away with things if you have money. taking drugs can not be justified in any way.

Agreed though - Happy Birthday Lila - its just awful that the children are the ones to suffer with all of this - she will be without her mum for the next month now... i feel so sorry for her bless her. She shouldnt have to be put through all this because of her mothers actions! Like you said above! And being around pete doherty must have had some damaging effect on her :D not someting you'll be shouting about the playground when she's older!!

God ive just come hoem and this has made me mad. yes i tried some drugs when i was younger no i didnt like it stupid thing to do but i didnt have a son at that time!! anybody who does take them and has kids are just plain stupid, and to me dont really care about their kids! but hey if that is what you wanna do then fine.
just think about what would happen if that one line of coke was a really bad lline and you died!! How do you think your child will feel when she is told how mummy died!! Not proud of you that is for sure!

For those of you who think that cocaine use is harmless, I thought I would provide a guide.
One question, though, how do you know if you are the one who is going to die of heart failure or develop schizophrenia?
If you have a child how are you going to look after them if you are suffering from any of the symptoms below?
And how are you going to do anything if you are dead....
What effect does it have? Generally, cocaine produces feelings of mental well-being and exhilaration. A user may feel energetic, talkative and mentally alert - especially to sensations of sight, sound, and touch. At the same time cocaine inhibits appetite and the desire for sleep. In some respects the effect of cocaine is grossly similar to that of amphetamines and like those drugs, cocaine use can produce anxiety or panic attacks. The after-effects of cocaine can include tiredness and depression. Excessive doses can sometimes cause death from heart failure.
Short-term effects
When cocaine is snorted, its euphoric effects appear soon after it is taken, peak in about 15-30 minutes and disappear completely within one half to two hours. As the 'high' is short-lasting, this often encourages users to repeat the dose in order to maintain the effect. It's common for cocaine users to take cocaine again after about half an hour or so after they last took some. Many repeated doses taken over a short period can lead to extreme states of agitation, anxiety or paranoia. The compulsion to repeat cocaine use is even more evident when the drug is taken as crack. The effects of crack cocaine occur and peak immediately the drug is smoked and begin to fade shortly afterwards. Crack users commonly repeat the dose at short intervals in an attempt to maintain the 'high'.
When large amounts of cocaine are taken (several hundred milligrams or more) the 'high' is intensified up to a point, but such doses can also lead to bizarre, erratic and violent behavior. These users may experience severe tremors, vertigo, muscle twitches and paranoia.
Longer-term effects
If cocaine is taken over a period of time, users experience the drug's long-term effects. The euphoric 'high' is gradually replaced by restlessness, extreme excitability, insomnia, and paranoia - and eventually hallucinations and delusions. These conditions are very similar to amphetamine psychosis and paranoid schizophrenia, although they disappear in most cases after cocaine use is ended. While many of the physical effects of heavy continuous use are essentially the same as those of short-term use, the heavy user may also suffer from mood swings, loss of interest in sex, weight loss and insomnia.

This is not coke as in coco-cola you know.. Drugs we are talking about. This can do alot of harm to you.
Its your health we are talking about :)
