Paul Danan dressed up as a banana for a publicity stunt and was accosted by ranting crowd - of gorillas.
The 'Celebrity Love Island' actor donned the costume for a charity race in London - which he was being filmed running in for a TV show - when he was surrounded by around 800 runners dressed up as apes.
The monkeys surrounded Danan and some started chanting insults at him. An onlooker is quoted in Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying: "Someone spotted Paul and started chanting, 'Danan's a t*****, Danan's a t*****'. Within seconds dozens of people joined in the chant."
After hearing the mocking crowd the actor wanted to shed his banana suit - but TV bosses wouldn't let him.
