'The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' will receive its world premiere at the Royal Albert Hall on December 7, in the presence of the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall.
No expense will be spared for the evening, with the hall being turned into a spectacular film palace, and a white carpet replacing the traditional premiere red.
As the 2005 Royal Film Performance, all proceeds from the night will go to the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund, and organisers are also giving members of the public an opportunity to attend.
A large number of affordable seats will go on general sale nearer the time, and grandstand seating will be available so fans can watch the celebrity arrivals in comfort.
As for the film itself, 'The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' goes on general release on December 8.
