View Full Version : Bruised Rib
Is there any natural herbs that help bruised ribs heal quicker? from  to :( to  - ouch!
try arnica it is great for just anout all bruises, you can get it from health shops. hope you get better soon!!!!!
thanks for the tip I'll try it!
how are the ribs? did you try the arnica?
haven't been able to get out - but doc says ice pack and then heat treat it. So I've been doing that. I might have to quit my beloved football because too much violence on (and off) the pitch.
I think it is bruising and not broken - because doc said the pain would be a lot greater - so i am hoping a few weeks i'll be back - in the mean time i can play lots of pacman :)
Thanks anyway Willow - at least there are some nice caring people out there!
i do try!!! you should see the violence on the pitch when my son plays and he is only 9!!!!!!!! hope it gets better soon
I found this link about arnica: http://botanical.com/botanical/mgmh/a/arnic058.html
Am I right in thinking I can take this for my calf injury which won't heal properly?
hey pie_man did u get that injury playing football?
if u did all u need is the magic sponge, all the physios use on the pitch when a player gets injured. haha. ohh mind u its a spray now, isnt it???
you could try it, i took it after i had my little girl and it helped me heal faster!! sorry its the only way to discribe it!!!!!!! not the magic spray or sponge!!!! the arnica!!!!
eye of a newt, shark tooth and woosh there we have it...
a monsanto GM goofy newt....
Thanks everyone I'll try it .......(arnica that is :) )
got it today Willow. See how good it is!!!!!
good luck i think you will be surprised!!!
I got some as well - see if it can do *anything* with this calf injury
and good luck to you too!!!
Willow, I've had this calf injury now for 3 years. Physios all but given up. No matter how long I rest it or what exercises I do, it always comes back.
It really is time to look at alternative medicine.
have you tried going to a specialised herbalist, or reflexologist? they may be able to help,
Was in Malaysia for three weeks and had almost daily reflexolgy treatment (was very cheap and good). Its definately made a difference, but its not 100%.
Didn't think about a herbalist.
anythings worth a shot! if it has been hurting for that long
You could try Accupunture or Rekki

arnica is fantastic for swelling and bruising, the cream is fantastic for getting rid of extrernal bruising really quickly, the tablets really help for deeper bruising (such as pie man ribs) like Willow I took it following delivering my 2 little ones too
Let us know how you are getting on with it guys
