Monday
Peggy is determined not to be beaten to the Vic by Johnny and
calls Grant. She later visits Chrissie and offers to top Johnny’s bid,
but is livid when Chrissie tells her that she will never do business
with a Mitchell.
Elsewhere, Mickey is furious that Dawn has spent her operation
fund money on a boob job and warns her to keep a low profile.
Tuesday
Billy stands his ground with Peggy and refuses to snoop into
Johnny’s business affairs. Johnny later offers Billy a promotion to
bar manager. Billy is over the moon but also uses the opportunity
to press Johnny for the identity of the third party interested in
the Vic.
Elsewhere, Dawn and Juley agree to compete against one another
to become Mickey’s new business partner.
Thursday
Johnny taunts Peggy in the café and she’s annoyed by his popularity
amongst the locals. Peggy addresses the people in the market and
asks whether they are really going to let Johnny Allen take over
their local pub.
Meanwhile, Alfie begins to work through Nana’s wish list and
discovers that she wants to see a film that she appeared in as a
girl. However, she is unable to remember any of the details.
Friday
After hearing what Peggy has said about her dad, Ruby is staying
with the Slaters, where Stacey desperately tries to find out what
Peggy could have said to upset her so much.
Elsewhere, Ian and Jane prepare lunch for Joe and Pauline.
However, Pauline gets embarrassed when Ian starts asking Joe
awkward questions.

Johnny and Peggy's arguments sound like they will be funny. Wonder who the third party is? I'm guessing Johnny doesn't get the Vic since he is leaving!

Sounds like Nana's wish list is going to be quite funny!! I bet that the thing she wishes for most of all is that Kat and Alfie get back together........... Maybe that's how it happens?? :heart:

if chrissie is not placed at the scene then neither is zoe so chrissie made out she was helping zoe out but she was just wanting to help herself
Barbara Windsor was on Radio 1 on Thursday (I think) and she said Peggy gets behind the bar of the Vic. Just thought I'd let you lot know :)

makes me laugh....she seels to grant, who: 1 looks a lot like phil 2) has an attiude problem, 3) has a moody look about him 4) last name is Mitchell when they sign the contracts!!!!!
i thougth chrissie had a bit more intelligance, surely she could spot a mitchell from a mile off!!!

maybe grant comes to sign the vic on the day chrissie is making a run for it with jake so she has no option but to sign the pub over cause she knows its not long befor the police are on to her

could well be...but surely she has other cash in hand people interested (jonny, ian etc) so why not sign over to someone she knows rather than a mitchell, or if she dosetn know hes a miutchell a stranger, its better the devil you know she'd surely sell it to Johnny

:hmm: hum im liking your thinking...but hey the mitchells need to own it!!!!
various rumours have goen round that grant buys it, and as of yet known that johnny does so it probably will be gwwwant.
the whole idea of grant returning is to sort of the mess, and rebuild the empire, so if he doesent it would be pointless him returning, gwwant needs to save the day and buy the vic for his mother dearest!!!!
