A new face is set to cause a stir in Albert Square later this year.
Emma Barton has been cast to play Honey Edwards. Honey works for a honey trap agency, helping to catch out cheating husbands. She arrives in Albert Square after being booked by one resident who has suspicions about her husband.
However, when Honey starts to put her plan in action, not everything goes to plan…
Emma said: "I can't wait to join EastEnders and play Honey. She's a really sweet girl who always wants to do the best for everyone, but she's not exactly the brightest star in the sky."
Emma trained at the Guildford School of Acting. She has featured in many theatre productions including Grease and The Secret Garden.
Her television credits include Spooks and Secret History.
Honey will join EastEnders in November.

Yes but can you see a young girl falling for Patrick?! I suppose it's possible. Honey might be a nice friend for Little Mo.

im thinking along the same lines as you birks, but would yolande hire something as modern as that???
maybe its jim...not an affair just the allotment and naomi tells dot all about the honey trap thing... donno we'll have to watch this space but sounds good!

little mo...yes i can see that working...about time enders had some characters of a more mature age instead of filling it with loads and loads of youngsters..my gut instinct tells me this character has a lot of potential

makes sense, sonia spenidng all this time away from martin, he goes off, and then naomi, im sure its her that introduces the idea!!!!, tells sonia about it
it cant be shannis as sharon is too "oh my dad's dead *pout* oh i love you chrissie *pout* i hate you peggy *pout*" at the moment to be getting involved with stuff like that
dennis could be in another country and she wouldnt notice at the moment!

could be dennis, maybe he spends a lot of time away and sharon thinks he's having an affair when he's really been at den's grave and doesn't want to admit it.

I cant see it being dennis i know they are going through an rough time he might go off the rails but i dont think he would do it to sharon he loves her to much and after everything they been through i dont think he would chuck an away

Barton will play supersnoop Honey Edwards, who will work for a local honey trap agency in Walford, and is hired by an Albert Square resident who becomes suspicious of her husband's activities.
However, when she tries to put her plan into operation, not everything goes as it should.

Dunno, i dont think it will be a comedy storyline, it could be quite serious, cant think of anyone who it could be, sonia and martin arent as close as they used to be, dont think it wll be sharon and dennis, oh i dont know, hope its a good storline though!

Not only does she seem a good friend for Little Mo, she could also be a love interest for Billy. He goes for that sort of woman doesn't he?!
I'm not sure what married couple she could be investigating, I can't think of anyone. Maybe Patrick and Yolande is the obvious choice.
