Hi I was wondering if you could help me I'm supposed to be singing at my schools open evening in a few months but I dont know what to sing. Im ok at singing so it doesnt really bother me. Last year I sang Hilary Duff cos it was easy but this year I have no idea and my friends are coming to watch too. Can you please help me to think of a song and if you yourself have any experience of this situation please can you share them Thanks

Dont sing a song by Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera or Celine Dion. You should never try and sing their songs due to the fact they are amazing singers and no-one can put a patch on them.

Try someone who is less well known for their amazing voice ranges, thats easy but also sounds good. Good luck

i agree that you shouldnt sing a song by someone who has a powerful voice as their voice is unique to them and not many people can match it no matter how good they can sing! lol. try to sing a well known song i'd say as people will now it and enjoy it more (well thats my opinion.)

What about i bruise easily or anything by natasha bedingfield, i dont thibk her songs are offensive or anything! Delta goodrem would be good as well as someone already said. I cant really think of anymore at the moment!
