I hope that it will go people forgetting lines can easily be covered over but it will be technicall problems that are the real test
It will be great , just a pity its Gabriel Kent who gets shot and not his evil brother David

i think it'll be fine i think they will hve practised the big techinical things o much they won't go wrong. i think if there is a problem it'll be an actor forgetting lines and that'd probably be nerves
I think that if there are any problems we won't notice to that extent. Its going to be excellent :cheer:

At 8pm, a special live episode of The Bill pulled in 7.92 million (35.9%) - good enough for second, but around 20% down on the first live episode (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/article/ds12173.html), broadcast in 2003. The BBC put up an admirable defence with Rogue Traders (5.6 million, 25.9%) and Trauma (4.93 million, 22%).

Me too, i thought The Bill would win, but never mind, you can't win everything.

They might not have won on paper but they did in the hearts of their fans and in there own self pride!!!
Ooo that was very philosophical of me!! lol

they got the highest ratings for the 8pm to 9pm time slot but lost out i think to emmerdale overthe whole evening, but thats still not too bad.
it is always hard to beat the ratings of a soap.

Yeah, but a live episode should beat something, i think tho if Emmerdale hadn't been an hour long special then The Bill would have won.

i didnt think it was that well done - i spotted a fair few flaws but i admire them for being brave and going through with it!
By the way Sam n Phil fans did you notice how worried Sam got about Phil when she was screaming down the radio - dhe didnt mantion Zain once!lol

Yes i did notice the Sam and Phil bit!
samantha nixon
23-09-2005, 18:33

A few very minor hickups is nothing to complain about, the whole thing went togther brilliantly, The only other soap/drama thats been live recently is corrie and all they did was stanmd on some cobbles not have car chases, explosions gun shots and actors dashing all over the place!!!
samantha nixon
23-09-2005, 18:45
i no the corrie one was really boring

and they used absolutly no stunts at all!! They would never have attempted something like Mayas mad monday which has effectively the same amount of stunts would never have been broadcast .live! so the comparison emphasises the achievement!!
well this is what i can remember but i think it was trudie or roberta swore and lisa got called either des or reg
when did june/ roberta swear and lisa get called des/ reg??
