John Mc Ardle is a brilliant actor and has more experience than Casper

yeah but john has been in more than chris so he should be more experienced but chris is a much better actor in that as like vikki said he doesnt show much emotion but chris does but i dont no what john is like in other things

Among John's multitude of screen credits are appearances in primetime favourites The Bill, Peak Practice, Where the Heart Is, Heartbeat, Cracker and Kavanagh QC.


John may now be best known for playing one of the boys in blue, but his Brookside character Billy Corkhill got onto the wrong side of the law when he was drawn into being a get-away driver.


John has a good baritone singing voice, and plays the harmonica.


John's no stranger to BBC Drama having ventured into former Merseybeat co-star Jonathan Kerrigan's territory with guest appearances in Holby City and Casualty.


John starred in 1997 TV series Born to Run, which was scripted by Cutting It writer Debbie Horsfield.

john mc ardle is a great actor and if his voice was a bit flat the other day im sure it will have been on purpose.
he has lists of credits to his name.
his character isnt meant to be liked, and he's obviously acting well if its having the right effect!

Nah - I am glad she has gone, Dan can find someone who deserves him now and at the end of the day, she was married and I really couldn't have seen her leaving the borough commander and his wage for PC Dan :( sorry

He should have been reported for what he did though, leaving Dan at the scene etc. Dan could have been killed for staying behind to try and find the Borough Commander, so he should have been reprimanded for that....
