Justin Timberlake is set to appear in a production of the play Resurrection Blues in London's West End.
The singer landed the role after being approached by the Old Vic theatre production's artistic director, Kevin Spacey. Timberlake and Spacey became close whilst working together on next year's thriller Edison, marking Timberlake's first stab at acting.
According to The Sun, the singer and wife Cameron Diaz are treating the role as an opportunity for a 'foreign adventure' as she also has filming commitments to fulfil in the UK next summer.
A source told the newspaper: "Cameron has got filming commitments in the UK next summer, so the pair have decided to turn it into a foreign adventure. They are keen to get stuck and absorb as much British culture as possible while they are here."
